Pos Malaysia's SME Jumpstart Workshop 2026 brings together founders, industry experts, ecosystem partners and supporting agencies through a day of Coffee & Conversations, practical insights and meaningful networking opportunities designed to help SMEs scale beyond marketplaces and grow with confidence.

Terms & Conditions

By registering for the SME Jumpstart Workshop ("Event"), participants agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 

1. Event Registration 

• Registration is only confirmed upon successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email from the organiser. 
• Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from the organiser. 
• Participants are responsible for ensuring that their registration details are accurate and complete. 
• The organiser reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration at its discretion. 

2. Ticket Fees & Refund Policy 

• All ticket purchases are final and non refundable. 

• If the Event is postponed, registrations will automatically be transferred to the new event date. 

• If a participant is unable to attend, substitute attendees from the same organisation may attend in their place with prior notification to the organiser. 

3. Event Changes 

• The organiser reserves the right to: 

• Change the Event venue; 

• Adjust the event programme; 

• Replace speakers, moderators, sponsors or partners; 

• Modify event timings; 

• Make any changes necessary for operational, safety or business reasons. 

• Such changes shall not entitle participants to a refund. 

4. Speaker & Programme Disclaimer 

• Speaker views and opinions expressed during the Event are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Pos Malaysia Berhad, its affiliates, partners or sponsors. 

• The organiser does not guarantee the availability of any specific speaker, panellist, VIP or government representative. 

• Session topics, content and speakers may be amended without prior notice. 

5. Photography, Videography & Media Usage 

i. Photography, videography and audio recording may take place during the Event. 

ii. By attending the Event, participants consent to the use of their image, voice and likeness in: 

• Event photography or videography 
• Promotional materials 
• Social media content 
• Event recap materials 
• Marketing and communications related to SME Jumpstart Workshop and future Pos Malaysia events 

iii. No compensation shall be payable for such use. 

6. Personal Data & Privacy 

i. Personal information collected during registration will be used for: 

• Event administration; 

• Participant communication; 

• Attendance management; 

• Event reporting and analytics. 

ii. Participants acknowledge and consent that their name, company name and email address may be shared with participating event partners and sponsors for legitimate business follow-up, networking purposes and related opportunities in connection with the SME Jumpstart Workshop. Participants who do not wish for these details to be shared must provide written refusal to <[email protected]> before the Event. 

7. Partner Booths, Offers & Brew Passport 

• The Event may include partner booths, sponsor activations, promotional offers and the Brew Passport activity. 

• Any products, services, offers, promotions or QR-code links provided by participating partners are solely the responsibility of the respective partner organisation. 

• Pos Malaysia does not endorse, guarantee or warrant any partner product, offer or service. 

• Brew Passport participation is voluntary. 

• Redemption of goodie bags, lucky draw entries or promotional items is subject to availability and any applicable redemption requirements. 

8. Conduct of Participants 

Participants agree to: 

• Behave professionally and respectfully throughout the Event; 

• Follow venue rules and safety requirements; 

• Refrain from disruptive, offensive or inappropriate behaviour; 

• Respect speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and fellow attendees. 

• Dress code is smart casual. Slippers are not permitted. 

The organiser reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate without refund. 

9. Limitation of Liability 

i. Participants attend the Event at their own risk. 

ii. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser shall not be liable for: 

• Personal injury; 

• Loss of personal belongings; 

• Property damage; 

• Travel or accommodation expenses; 

• Business interruption; 

• Any indirect or consequential losses arising from attendance at the Event. 

iii. Participants are responsible for their own insurance arrangements where required. 

10. Force Majeure 

The organiser shall not be liable for failure to hold or continue the Event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: 

• Acts of God; 

• Natural disasters; 

• Epidemics or pandemics; 

• Government restrictions; 

• Civil disturbances; 

• Venue unavailability; 

• Technical or infrastructure failures. 

In such situations, the organiser reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel the Event.
