Taiwanese singer-actress Rene Liu Ruoying will perform a 1-night concert at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands on October 1st, 2016 at 8:30pm. Her new tour “RENEXT World Tour” which is scheduled to tour 31 cities across the globe is her strong return after a 5-year break. It also marks her first solo performance ever in Malaysia in 21 years since her music debut. 

Liu’s concert will feature four chapters - “I Dare Love,” “I Regret,” “Missing You,” and “I Understand” - to represent one’s emotions and thoughts during different stages of life and to share inspiring stories. Liu is set to prepare lots of surprises at her show and apart from belting out her classic and newer hits, the production choreography will promise to be an audio-visual feast. 

Liu further unveiled at her recent Taipei press conference that her good friend, the popular Malaysia-born singer Michael Wong will be joining her on stage at the Malaysia gig. 

Liu is well-known among the Chinese pop lovers for her soft and mellow voice and graceful stage presentation. “RENEXT World Tour” when announced, has captured wide attention in the music scene. Liu recorded numerous sellout shows and her tour continues to receive strong response and good concert reviews. 

Rene Liu has been in the entertainment industry for 21 years. Apart from her wide recognition in movies and TV Drama which has won her numerous big awards, the singer has swept home “The Most Popular Female Singer” and “Hit FM Voice of Taipei Annual Recommended Singer” awards, while her newest hit “Wish you well” has also won a spot on the Top Twenty Hits at the Global Chinese Golden Chart ceremony in Beijing. Her popular hits also include “Crazy for Love", "Love You So Much", "When Love Is Coming" and "Dare to Be Lonely in Someone Else's Arms", among others.
