Sepang 12 Hours Race 2016 will be organized at Sepang International Circuit on 9th - 11th December 2016 (Friday - Sunday).

SRO Motorsports Group in partnership with the Sepang International Circuit are co-organising and co-promoting the Sepang 12 Hours. The experience and know-how of SRO Motorsports Group will elevate the event to be firmly established as one of the major long distance races for GT cars.
The race was moved from August to December in 2015 and will continue to run as the finale of races at the prestigious Sepang International Circuit.SRO Motorsports Group in partnership with the Sepang International Circuit are co-organising and co-promoting the Sepang 12 Hours. Race distance/format: 12 Hours (starting at 12:00 on Saturday 12th December) Track Length: 5,543 km
ELIGIBLE CARS:
GT3
FIA Homologation GT3 cars including National G3 homologation, JAF GT300 & Super Taikyu STX.
GTC:
Cars issued from single-make series such as the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Ferrari Challenge, Maserati Trofeo, Porsche Carrera Cup, Audi R8 LMS Cup.
Any variants to be approved and subject to BOP*
GT4 cars & Sports Production:
GT4 cars complying with SRO regulations. Such as Ginetta, Lotus Evora, BMW M3, Aston Martin Vantage GT4, Nissan 350Z...
Sport Production: Non FIA Homologated Sports cars 1900cc and above. ST3 Super Taikyu, Sports cars with diesel engines above 1900cc. Any variant or modified models to apply for approval*
Touring Production:
Group N & A cars 1900cc and above, Non FIA Homologated Touring cars 1900cc to 4500cc, Super Taikyucars (ST2 & ST4) Touring/Saloon with diesel engine above 1900cc, Production Touring/Salon with petrol engine smaller than 1600 cars. Any variant or modified models to apply for approval*
Touring Production example: Honda Civic, Subaru, Renault Clio/ Megane, Toyota GT86.

*Automobiles not on the eligibility list or variants will be considered upon application and subject to approval by the organisers and subject to specific BOP.

DRIVER GRADING AND LICENCES:
All drivers to be categorised by the FIA, if you are not yet graded see below link

Licences required: Minimum International grade C minimum, competitors holding AAM or MAM competitors licence are also eligible to race in all classes. VISA to compete from ASN required.
PERMITTED DRIVER COMBINATIONS:
3 or 4 drivers per car, each class to apply the following maximum combinations :
Pro/Am Cup 3 Drivers:
Platinum + Bronze + Bronze
Silver + Silver + Bronze
Pro/Am Cup 4 Drivers:
Platinum + Platinum + Bronze + Bronze
Platinum + Gold + Silver + Bronze
Silver + Silver + Silver + Bronze
Gold + Gold + Bronze + Bronze
Am CUP:
3 Drivers All Bronze
4 Drivers a Silver driver may be added with 3 Bronze.
RACE FORMAT :
Maximum duration of a stint is 65 minutes (70 minutes while the safety car is on track)
3 Driver crew: no driver can drive more than 280 minutes
4 Driver crew: no driver can drive more than 240 minutes
Bronze drivers have a minimum drive time of 2 hours, 1 hour if split between two bronze in the same car.
SRO BALANCE OF PERFORMANCE:
