About the organizer - Life Engineering

Life Engineering is the first medical costs crowd sharing platform in Malaysia. This is a technologically enabled platform where people (we call them Sharers) come together via mobile App or website to share their medical costs. Our aim is not only to help to reduce the burden on medical bills through this platform, we are also promoting healthy lifestyle to the community. 

Life Engineering is not an insurance company, we provide a simple, affordable and easily accessible alternative solution for the medical costs.

• Important Notice
  Participants are advised to read the following Important Notice, Terms & Conditions and Official Rules carefully before the event.
  Participants are advised to solicit medical advice from a doctor if they are in doubt of their health condition prior to taking part in the event.
  The following Terms & Conditions and Official Rules are intended to help produce and direct a large scale event, to ensure the safety of all participants and to meet the requirements of any local government permits required.
  All entry fees are non-refundable and the Organizer retains the right to refuse entry to anyone declaring false information on their entry form, not making the required payment or fail to meet the stated entry requirements.
• Registration
  Life Engineering Family Walkathon is open for all Malaysian citizen including Permanent Residents.
  All entries are based on a 1st-come-1st-serve basis unless otherwise stated.
  The Organizer reserves the right to contact and to interview applicants by phone or through any other form of communication if any additional information is required for matters relating to their application.
  Fee includes race kit and insurance coverage.
• Official Rules
  Once registration is completed and payment has been made, registration fees paid by those who for whatever reason/s do not take part in the run are NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-DEFERRABLE.
  The organizer reserves the right to limit, accept or reject any entries without prior notice and reason.
  Successful participants MUST collect their Race Kit (in person or through an authorized person) by presenting the copy of Official Receipt and Identity Card or passport.
  The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any person from competition who gives incorrect personal data / details on the entry form, or who is suspected of having taken banned substances. No refund of entry fee will be arranged.
  Participants who do not start according to the race time assigned to them by the Organizer are not entitled to the results of the race.
  Participants must retire from the race immediately, if asked / requested to do so by any member of the officials, medical staff, race director, umpire and / or security officers / marshals.
  The organizer and its representative shall not be held responsible for injury, death, damage, loss, delay, cost, expense, or inconvenience before, during or after the race.
  Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer (including heavy rain, thunder storm or disaster, public rally), no refund of the entry fee will be made and the Organizer shall have no further responsibility and/or liability during or thereafter.
  Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by their parents or guardians before, during or after the race.
• Pictures and Documentation
  The Organizer shall be entitled to use any pictures and/or documentations of the Participants taken during the event for purposes related with the Life Engineering Family Walkathon / Products & Services of Crowd Care Sdn Bhd or any future events.
• Amendments / Reservations / Acknowledgment
  The Organizer reserves the right, to modify, supplement or waive all or part of the event rules.
  Participants shall be bound by any such modification or supplemental event rules as may be published by the Organizer from time to time.
