We believe every child is creative. The purpose of making it bigger is because ICDC is a good platform to expose children to healthy competition environment that can help them to increase their confidence.

It is a very precious experience for every child to learn that in every competition, there will always be winners and learners, who grows through the process. Regardless of the results, every child in the competition will be given a souvenir as an encouragement for participation.

In this competition, our topic is related to culture .Why do we set our topic which is related to culture? We realized that children nowadays are not aware of our cultures. Culture is the characteristic of a group of people that defines everything such as language, religion, lifestyle etc. Different people in different societies will have different culture. However , there are also some similarities in it . Therefore , we hope through this competition, it will encourage them to explore and understand more about the importance of culture.

Rules & Regulation
1. This contest is open for children age 5 to 8 (Category A) and children age 9 to 12 (Category B)
2. Duration of drawing is 2 hours
3. Do ensure all details are provided. Incomplete registration form will be disqualified.
4. Participant is required to bring his own drawing tools to the contest day. Only color pencils, crayons and oil pestels are allowed for coloring.
5. Only 1 drawing paper will be distributed to each participant on contest day.
6. Children are advised to bring their own drawing table during the contest period for their comfort.
7. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the contest without prior notice.
8. Judges’ decision are final and further inquiry will not be entertained.
9. 6 drawings ( 3 from each category ) will be shortlisted and send to TAIWAN for display in the town hall by JCI TAOYUAN.
10. 20 drawings ( 10 from each category ) will be awarded special prizes.
11. 20 drawings ( 10 from each category ) will be awarded consolation prizes.
12. Prizes giving ceremony will be held on the same day 7 JULY 2018, at IPC Shopping Centre. If the winner is not present at the time of announcement , JCI Petaling Jaya reserves the right to replace winners.
13. JCI Petaling Jaya is not liable for any loss/damage/injury of participants or any party who is related to the participants, arising from any circumstances, either controllable or non-controllable, that occur before, during or after the contest.
14. All entries shall be the property of JCI Petaling Jaya, including all their copyrights.
15. JCI Petaling Jaya reserves the rights to publish or display the personal details and photographs of winner for advertising purpose.
16. JCI Petaling Jaya reserves the rights to verify, amend, modify or delete any of the rules and regulations and agree to adhere to it.
17. By entering this contest all participants are deemed to understand ALL the rules and regulations and AGREE to all rules and regulations.
18. Ticket sold is NOT REFUNDABLE.
