REGISTER BY AUGUST 17TH 2018!!

NEW MALAYSIA RUN 2018 – VIRTUAL RUN – Rules & Regulations

1. Participants are only entitled to receive a Finisher Tee and a Finisher Medal. No sponsor goodies will be delivered.
2. Participants can expect delivery of the finisher tee & medal before 31st October 2018 and after submission of run results.
3. Delivery fee will be borne by participants.
4. Bulk delivery is not applicable for all Virtual Run, whether individual or group registrations. All Virtual Run packages will be delivered individually.
5. New Malaysia Run 2018 ['Event'] is a virtual run organised by Flash Communications ['the Organiser'] and is open to anyone aged 13 and above; each participant attends the session at his/her free will.
6. This Event will be held from 31st August 2018 to 16th September 2018. The Organiser reserves the right to postpone or cancel the Event at any time.
7. Participants must be certified fit to participate in this Event. The Organiser shall not be liable for any accident or mishap which arises as a result of non-disclosure of medical conditions by the Participants.
8. Participant agrees to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about the Participant. The Organiser may contact the Participant from time to time by email. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the Organiser shall be deemed as received by the Participant. If the Participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or the Organiser has grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, the Organiser may suspend or terminate the Participant's registration and refuse any and all current or future use of the Event's Official Website (or any parts therefore).
9. For group registration, there will be no bulk delivery. All packages will be delivered individually.
10. Once Participant's registration has been duly processed, there will be NO refund for Participant who does not eventually take part in the Event for whatever reason.
11. Entries are non-transferable 
12. All T-Shirt measurements subject to 1 - 2 CM tolerance.
13. All merchandise - Color, design and material are subject to change without notice.
14. The Organiser reserves the right to change the date, venue or to cancel the Event at any time without prior notice to the Participant, in which case the Organiser will make effort to inform the Participant prior to the date. If the Event has to be cancelled, there shall be NO refund of fees and the Organiser shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused. Any updates on the Event including any changes to the Rules and Regulations will be posted on the Event's Official Website. It is the responsibility of the Participants to keep abreast with such updates and changes. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or inconveniences caused.
15. There will be no refund of registration fees, if the Event is cancelled for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser (including but not limited to haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism or other conditions) and which in the Organiser's opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.
16. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel and/or add any Event category without giving any reasons whatsoever or providing any prior notice to the Participant.
17. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any injury or harm experienced by the participant before, during, or after the course of participation in the Event.
18. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of Participant), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to the Organiser.
19. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Rules & Regulations at any time, at its sole discretion, without any prior notice.
20. Participants must ensure that they have read and understood the Personal Data Protection Notice on the collection, retention, use, disclosure and management of the Participant's personal data. By reading and agreeing to it, Participants agree to authorise and allow Flash Communications and/or any of its subsidiary companies to collect, retain, use and disclose the Participant's personal data for the purposes mentioned in the Personal Data Protection Notice.
21. Participants registering on behalf of someone else must declare that they have obtained consent from the named individual(s) on the registration, for the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data to Flash Communications, partners and other third party service providers.

TRACKING YOUR EVENT

1. Upon registration, participants need to run their chosen distance (5km, 10km, or 21km) in a location and time of their choice, alone or with friends, outdoors or on a treadmill anytime from August 31st 2018 till September 16th 2018. 
2. Participants must track their run with any reasonable run tracking app like Strava or Mi Fit. 
3. After the run, the screenshot of the run results must be sent for submission. (It should contain the distance, timing and date of the run)
4. Submission of run results are to be made via the "Virtual Run Result Upload" section at the bottom of this event page from August 31st onward.
