Event Description

"A unique run/walk event with ‘3R’ theme; "A fundraising event by HOPE worldwide"

Good Earth Run 2019, a 10km fun run and 4km masquerade walk is a fundraising event organised to raise RM50,000 to sustain our community programs that focuses on health, food and education for the underprivileged community. This unique charity fun run/walk is base the theme of 3R - Recycle, Regenerate and Refuse where this supports in cultivating a sustainable living environment for our nation.

Recycle – Rewear or refashion your own running Tee

Regenerate – A live plant for all finishers

Refuse – Support no single use plastic. #hashtag and pick up a personalised magnetic badge (while stocks last)

What can be more meaningful than to spend a day with your family while contributing back to the Society. All proceeds of this event are channelled to support our community programs for the underprivileged community.

d) *For Family Run, there is a free admission for a maximum of 2 children of below 12 years under 1 adult registration aged 18 years. Registration of 2 children details are needed with the online portal for insurance purposes. (Children below 12 years are NOT entitle to any finisher plant, other sponsored items, lucky draws)

No T-shirt will be given to support green environment. But we will give away a recycled no-sew tote bag for each finisher on event day.

Finisher Plant

Instead of a medal, a live plant in a biodegradable pot is awarded to all finishers.

Water Stations

Water stations without cups will be made available on route. All participants are encouraged to bring your own water tumbler.

Lucky Draw

There will be a lucky draw conducted during the event day.

Adult Responsibility 

An adult registration for Family Run (4KM) is allowed to bring a maximum of 2 children of below 12 years for free. The adult must take full responsible of their wellbeing pre, during and after the run. Registration of the children details are required for insurance purposes only. The children are not entitled for finisher plant, other sponsored items and lucky draws finisher plant. 

12 - 17 Years Responsibility
Individuals aged between 12 to 17 years take full responsible that he/she registers and participate in the event with their parents’ conscent.

Baggage

There will be NO baggage handling services during the event day.

Tax Exempt Receipt

Tax exempt receipt is available for all donations contributed to Persatuan Kebajikan HOPE worldwide Kuala Lumpur: 

• Only 1 tax exempt receipt is issued for a donation
• The tax exempt receipt can be requested during your Good Earth Run 2019 registration with the ticket2u online portal
• The tax exempt receipt will be post to you
• The tax exempt receipt will be issued under the name as per your Identification Card. Kindly ensure that your registration name is as per your IC.

Waiver

1. The organizer reserves the right to use any photograph (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the event taken before, during and after the event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors.
2. The organizer reserves the right to amend the run & walk route as they deem fit for the safety of the participant and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the event, at any time without prior notice to the participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the participant prior to the date of the event. The organizer shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.
3. The organizers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the race in the event of heavy rain or thunder storm or extreme weather condition. Should the heavy rain, thunder storm or extreme weather condition persist after delay, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the race without any refund. In the event of heavy rain or thunder storm or catastrophic or natural disaster resulting in a postponement or cancellation of the above event, the organisers shall not be held responsible for any claims including refund whatsoever in any form made by any individual or parties concerned.
4. Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizer to ensure the participant safety, participants run at their own risk and the organizer will not be responsible or held liable for any injury or death howsoever arising from training for or during participation in the race. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination and or consult their medical practitioner prior to registration and before the actual race day.
5. The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the race to prevent him/her form causing greater harm or injury to him/her.
6. The decision of the organizer is final when accepting entries. The organizer reserves the right to limit or refuse an entry without having to disclose a reason.
