Whole Body Disorders
The workshop dives into the rising epidemic of neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders, explores what is behind the rise and spends the majority of time looking at strategies to improve your child’s health, function and quality of life.
- We will look at these disorders from a whole body disorder perspective and how we can improve health and function for any child regardless of genetic factors.
- That is not to say that genetic factors are not important. They certain are.
- However, if we focus on factors to improve health and function we can increase the quality of life of any child.
- We will particularly discuss the gut and digestive system and how that relates to your child’s health and behaviors and then dive into the autonomic nervous system which is the most neglected and arguably most important aspect of how we learn, grow and develop.
