Why 15km?
Because SUNWAY SPORT COUNCIL is organizing a VIRTUAL 15KM RUN - JOMVRUN!!♂️♂️
A healthy nation starts with a healthy individual. As a Malaysian, we should now unite and keep our health at peak to fight against this fearful pandemic. ⚔️ In the month of unity in Malaysia, keep the spirit up by running with us!
We know some of you have been struggling to start your daily exercise routine due to the extension of RMCO and felt like you need someone or something to kickstart your journey to a healthier you. ♂️Well, take this chance and RUN with us during this JOMVRUN event and we will give you all the motivation you need to kickstart your journey!✨
Every participant is entitled to a dri-fit shirt and a unique design wristband. Additionally, E-certificates and medals will be given out to all our lovely FINISHERS too!! If you feel adventurous, we have prepared something for you. TOP 3 RUNNERS that run the longest distance during this period (more than 15km) will receive a well-earned prize and ONE LUCKY PARTICIPANT will receive a gift too! Woohoo!! Boomshakalaka... HEY!

1. 1. General
   1.1. Everyone is eligible to take part in this event.
   1.2. There is no age restriction in the participation of the event. However, do sign up and complete the event based on personal capability.
   1.3. Participants who are taking part in this virtual run are entirely at their own risk and are 100% responsible for selecting a safe route to run. SSC accepts no responsibility for any accidents or injuries sustained whilst taking part in this virtual run.
   1.4. Since there are only limited slots, registration will be based on first-come, first-served basis.
   1.5. Once the registration is done, no amendments shall be made. Hence, do confirm the details before submission.
   1.6. Participants who have successfully registered will be notified through email within 3 working days.
   1.7. By entering this virtual run, you are accepting that the committee members from SSC will contact you to confirm your entry and keep you updated on the delivery of merchandise.
2. Fees
   2.1. Participants are required to pay the stated amount of fee upon registration.
   2.2. If participants wish to forfeit from the event, they may do so. However, no refunds can be given.
3. Preparation
   3.1. Before the run, do ensure to download any running application available which shows the route taken. (Eg. NIKE+, Runtastic, Strava, MapMyRun, Runkeeper etc.)
   3.2. Treadmill running is not allowed.
   3.3. Participants should follow SSC page on Facebook or Instagram to stay updated for the event.
4. Submission
   4.1. Participants are advised to complete the required distance through multiple runs.
   4.2. Submissions are available anytime starting 1st October 2020, 12.00PM. Participants can choose to submit their results individually or cumulatively. The submission link will be sent through email.
   4.3. The submission details must include:
           a. Date & time
           b. Total distance (in kilometers) & time taken for each run
           c. Route taken
   4.4. If the requirements in 4.3 are not fulfilled, the submission would be considered invalid.
   4.5. The deadline for final submission will be on 31st October 2020, 11.59PM.
5. Competition
   5.1. Participants who registered are eligible to win prizes from two categories.
           a. Most Distance Covered Award (3 winners)
               • Top 3 participants who had accumulated the most distance within the month of October will be the winners of this award.
           b.The Lucky Runner Award (1 winner)
           • Participants are required to set their Instagram profile as public and tag SSC at @sunwaysportscouncil on a post with hashtag #JomVRun2020 as the caption. One post will be considered as one entry.
               • An online randomizer will be used to select the winner of this award.
6. Merchandise
   6.1. Participants are entitled to a limited-edition event t-shirt and a unique design wristband.
   6.2. The participation fee does not include the postage fee to deliver the merchandise. Hence, additional charges apply.
   6.3. International delivery is unavailable. However, delivery and meet-up options will be available once participants are in Malaysia.
   6.4. On the other hand, self-collection at Sunway University is available. The details of self-collection will be announced later.
   6.5. Do expect delays in the delivery of merchandise by the shipping company.
   6.6. Participants who had achieved the targeted distance are entitled with an e-certificate and a finisher medal, which will be given out together with the merchandise stated in 6.1.
7. Others
   7.1. SSC reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions above at any time without prior notice.
