Ticketing Rules

Terms and Conditions

1. This ticket is proof of purchase for the “2021 Obstacle Warrior National Championships” and must be presented at the time of admission. 
2. This ticket is non-transferable and only one ticket is valid per ticket purchased. 
3. Tickets are not to be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry.
4. Once purchased, the ticket is non-refundable.
5. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry should the ticket holder test positive for Covid-19 before entering the premises.
6. This ticket may be valid as a tax invoice or receipt in the case of registrations or other event payments. 
7. Proof of age or concession card may be requested.
8. There will be no refunds. Doors open 2 hours before the event starts.
9. Tickets cannot be on-sold by any means at a price greater than the purchase price of the ticket. Scalped tickets may be cancelled, and the ticket holder will be denied entry.
10. Any person/s who are noisy, drunk, threatening or unruly will be asked to leave the premises. 
11. The event organiser has all the rights to film, photo and video production of this event.
12. Any data collected for marketing purposes from this event will be strictly in accordance with the Privacy of Information Act.
13. On the day of the event, you will need to arrive 90 minutes before your allotted time slot. 
14. If you are more than 30 minutes late, you will be disqualified and there will be no refund.
15. As the Event Organiser hosting this event, World Sports Entertainment is responsible for all issues relating to the sale of tickets. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Hanif Royani on [email protected] 
16. World Sports Entertainment, Malaysian Obstacle Race Sports Association and Extreme Park, Paradigm Mall will not be responsible for any injuries that you may inflict during the practice, training, league, qualifying or final rounds. 

Covid Rules

1. In order to facilitate the event COVID-19 SOP, every participant is required to report 90 mins before their assigned competition timeslot. If the participant arrives late for check-in/registration, the participant is disqualified from the league and competition without any refund.
2. Every participant must wear their mask correctly when not competing. 
3. Every participant is required to scan MySejahtera at the Check-in counter.
4. Every participant must comply with physical distancing (of 1 meter apart), avoid shaking hands and wash hands frequently either with water and soap or hand sanitizer.
5. Every participant must record their body temperature with a non-contact thermometer. Participants with a body temperature of 37.5 °C or above will not be allowed into the restricted area.
6. Participants Under Investigation (PUI) or with COVID-19 symptoms or included in a cluster listed by MOH or suspected of being exposed to a person having a COVID-19 infection will not be allowed to participate in the league and competition.
7. Participants will undergo an RTK test at the Check-in counter (Participants will need to undergo a 2^nd RTK test if their 1^st RTK result is positive for Covid19. Participants will be disqualified from the competition if their Covid 19 RTK result is positive for their second Covid 19 RTK test).
8. The crew will identify the affected areas for the immediate clean-up and disinfection process if there is participant positive with Covid 19. 
9. The event area will be regularly sanitized. 
10. Participants will be required to follow all instructions given by the crew for Covid 19 prevention purposes. 
11. Participants who are sick or are exhibiting any Covid 19 symptoms should stay home 
12. All event crew members are to wear face shield, mask and gloves at all times. 
13. Lidded trash bins are to be used by event crew and participants for disposal of used mask, gloves, RTK test kit and tissue papers.
14. Failure to comply with the event COVID SOP may result in participants being asked to leave the restricted area and disqualified from competing. There will be no refund in the event of COVID SOP transgressions by the said participant.

Event Rules:

1. Please follow all the instructions given to you by our crew.
2. Each participant should carry their identity card (IC).
3. Participants taking part in the competition should register on the day of the event at the registration committee desk 90 minutes before the competition starts.
4. Participants must wear the bib and wristband at all times provided by the registration committee.
5. Smoking and consumption of alcohol, drugs or any illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
6. All the events will commence at the scheduled time; punctuality will be appreciated.
7. The event organiser reserves the rights to film, photograph and record video of this event.

8. Please note that photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind is not permitted without the prior written approval of the Event Organiser.
9. Pets and other animals are not allowed into the event area.
10. It is recommended that valuable items are not brought into the event area. Personal property may be secured in the lockers provided. The Event Organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to property within the event area whether stored in lockers or not.

1. The Event Organiser will not be liable for any loss, damage, costs, expenses, or other claims for compensation arising from any incomplete, incorrect, or inaccurate information or instructions supplied by the participant.
2. Any participants who are demonstrating threatening, offensive or dangerous behaviour will be asked to leave.

Obstacle Course Rules:

1. Please refer to MORSA (Malaysian Obstacle Race Sports Association) website for the rules regarding the successful completion of each obstacle
2. Every participant will be sent the obstacle rules and be briefed before the challenge on how to successfully complete each obstacle.
3. Should there be a dispute, the MORSA’s decision will be final.

By purchasing this ticket I agree to the terms and conditions and waiver release to in this event.

“2021 Obstacle Warrior National Championships” Assumption of Risk and Warning of Risk Waiver and Release of Claims (“Agreement”)

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way “2021 Obstacle Warrior National Championships” related events and/or activities (the “Event”), I, the undersigned, acknowledge, covenant and agree that:

1. The risk of injury, illness, disability and/or death from the activities involved in the Event is significant including, but not limited to the following: (i) sprains; (ii) strains; (iii) fractures; (iv) burns, cuts and tears; (v) bruises; (vi) heat and cold injuries; (vii) drowning and near-drowning; (viii) over-use syndrome; (ix) accidents and/or injuries involving vehicles; (x) animal and/or insect bites and or/stings; (xi) contact with poisonous plants; (xii) accidents and/or injury involving, but not limited to falling, slipping, sliding, running, travel by boat, truck car or other convenience; (xiii) heart attack; (xiv) potential for permanent paralysis and/or death; (xv) illness; (xvi) those risks created by other Event participants; and (xvii) those risks due to defects or conditions of or at the Event. While particular rules, equipment and personal discipline may reduce these risks, the risk of death, illness, disability or injury does exist;

2. AFTER OPPORTUNITY TO FULLY INFORM MYSELF ABOUT THE EVENT, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME AND ACCEPT ALL SUCH RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, and assume full responsibility and all risks of all nature for my participation in the Event;

3. I agree to abide by any decision of an Event official relative to my ability to safely complete the Event, which decision is at the sole discretion of the Event official and I agree lack of a decision does not create any liability or waiver thereof whatsoever;

4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and/or next of kin, forever WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE and COVENANT NOT TO SUE “2021 Obstacle Warrior National Championships”, World Sports Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. and their officers, directors, members, managers, representatives, officials, principals, owners, licensees, franchisees, agents and/or employees, subsidiaries and/or assigns, as well as their independent contractors, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, volunteers and if applicable, owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct the Event (collectively “Releasees”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, ILLNESS, INCAPACITY, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, DEATH, and/or loss or damage to person or property incurred by me in connection with participation in the Event. I further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Releasees from any loss, liability, cost, claim or damages arising from my participation in or association with the Event.

5. I attest and verify that, unless otherwise indicated below, I am over 18 years of age, am free from all illnesses, injuries and defects that could interfere with my safe participation in the Event and that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in all activities associated with the Event. My participation in the Event is entirely voluntary. I further certify and represent that on the date of the Event I will possess and be covered by medical/health insurance, individually or as part of an organization. I understand and agree that children under the age of 7 are not permitted to participate or accompany me in the Event unless a parent or guardian signs a waiver on their behalf and if no signature is obtained I assume full and complete liability and this Agreement extends to such minor’s participation.

6. I consent to administration of first aid and other medical treatment and transportation in the event of any injury or illness and hereby release and indemnify Releasees from any and all liability or claims arising out of such treatment. This release extends to any liability arising out of, or in any way connected with the medical treatment and/or transportation.

7. The Event may be postponed, cancelled, or modify due to weather conditions, Acts of God or other factors beyond the control of any Releasee. There is no refund granted.

8. I acknowledge and verify that I may be dismissed from participation, without refund, if I endanger the safety or negatively affect the Event, a person, a facility or property of any type of kind.

9. I hereby irrevocably, absolutely and in perpetuity, grant unlimited permission to the Releasees to film, videotape and record gratis the performance of the above named participant in the Event and subsequently to telecast, sell, distribute and other utilize the same in whatever manner Releasees deem appropriate. Such permission includes without limitation granting the unlimited and irrevocable right to Releasees, without compensation of any kind to me, to own, use, publish, republish, copyright, reproduce, sell, distribute, or broadcast my name, nickname, image, likeness, voice, photograph, signature facsimile, biographical information or any other depiction of any kind of me or my likeness (collectively the “Images”), in connection with or due to my participation in the Event, in any electronic or print format or media or format whatsoever, whether such format is now known or later developed. I acknowledge and agree that Releasees and their representatives will have this unlimited right throughout the world.

10. In consideration and in return for being allowed to participate in the Event, I release and agree not to sue the Releasees from all present and future claims regarding my participation in the Events that may be made by me, my family, estate, heirs or assigns.

11. I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event is strictly personal and registration cannot be transferred. Participation in the Event will be deemed full agreement to each and every term of this waiver of liability and release.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION AND WARNING OF RISK AGREEMENT, I DO FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT. I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS.

MINORS: IF UNDER 18 -SIGNATURE OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN REQUIRED

I, the undersigned hereby certify, warrant and represent that I am the legal parent or guardian of the above, (“Participant”), and that after fully informing myself regarding the nature and risks of the Event, I give my permission for Participant to participate in the same and by my signature below, I fully ratify, accept and agree to all of the terms of the above Agreement for both myself individually, on behalf of the Participant and as a legal parent or guardian of the Participant.
