Team Registration Terms and Conditions:

 1. This competition is open for all Malaysians whose age is between 16 - 30 years old. 

2. Participants must register as a team of 5 participants. 

3. A deposit of RM 50 is applicable and will refund back to the participants if the participants did not go against any of the rules, and participants attend the event accordingly. 

4. By entering into this competition, each participant agrees to participate as well in the Enrich program of Malaysia Airlines or MHexplorer of Malaysia Airlines. 

5. By above covenants, SEGi and the partners of the Youth Esports Challenge 2021 has the right to contact the participants for other events and activities organized by the company after the challenge. 

6. SEGi reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time. 

7. SEGi reserves the right at any time to replace any participant and/or winner subsequently found to be disqualified for any reason.

8. If your team entered the Youth Esports Challenge 2021 (League of Legends), hence you and your team are not allowed to enter this tournament.

Rules and Regulation of Valorant Competition

1. Competition System

1.1 Game: 

The winning conditions are: (A) One of the team win 13 rounds first; (B) In overtime one of the team win 2 rounds directly; (C) Enemies surrender; (D) Enemies is disqualified; (E) Enemies break rules.

1.2 Competition: 

Preliminary match will be online match. The online preliminary matches will start at 1st December 2021 (8 p.m.). Every participant needs to join discord server in 15 minutes earlier before the start of the matches and wait for the organizer to ask one of the leader from both team create the room and invite other team leader. After that, leader will invite his/her teammates into the room. Each of the team will have a BO1 match. Semifinals and finals will be online/offline match on 10th December 2021. Moreover, semifinals will be BO1 match, whereas finals will be BO3 match. 

1.3 Age: 

The player must be at least 16 years old and below 30 years old by the date of the first game.

1.4 Team: 

Every team will only be allowed 5-member, substitution is allowed (only 1). Only 16 teams are allowed to participate in this tournament. Registration will close if the number of participations is reached. 

2. Game Rules: 

2.1 

Presential Game: If the player did not inform the Tournament Officials for pausing or any intentional disconnect, the tournament will not time out. During time out the player must get the permission of the Tournament Officials to leaves the Tournament area.

Online Phase: During the tournament the players are not allowed to pause the game.

2.2 Ban/ Pick: 

During the Ban/Pick stage, one Tournament Official will get confirmation if the players are ready. Once the confirmation is done, the Ban/Pick stage will start. 

BO1:

Team A bans a map from the map pool.

Team B bans a map from the map pool.

Team A picks a map from the remaining maps.

Team B will pick a side (Attackers/Defenders) to start on.

BO3:

Team A bans a map from the map pool.

Team B bans a map from the map pool.

Team B picks a map for map 1.

Team A will pick a side (Attackers/Defenders) for map 1.

Team A picks a map for map 2.

Team B will pick a side (Attackers/Defenders) for map 2.

Team A picks a map for map 3.

Team B will pick a side (Attackers/Defenders) for map 3.

2.2.3 Maps

2.3 Ban/Pick and sides

2.3.1 Sides: 

Each leader of the team will be invited into a discord server created by organizer. Before the tournament, each leader needs to pick a side of the coin to decide which team(A/B) you are. The winner will be Team A.

2.3.2 False Pick: 

If the player picks or ban an agent that is not intended the game will still continue. 

2.4 Before the match:

2.4.1 Tournament Round will start as scheduled unless said otherwise. Some rounds might get delayed, for all the information please check the discord, where all information is current.

2.4.2 Once all the players are connected to the lobby, Team captains have to check all the players if their Valorant nicknames match the nicknames written on the discord. If there are any discrepancies, please inform the admin on the discord by providing the screenshot of the lobby.

2.4.3 The match will be start once both team leader say reader in the chat. The match should not start before that.

2.5 During the match:

2.5.1 If one of the teams will not pick all the agents in the character selection screen and the game goes back to the lobby, the game has to be remade.

2.5.2 In the case that the game started before writing ready from both sides, the team which did not write ready has the right to call a remake before round 1 of the game starts. (before the countdown in the game of round 1 reaches 0).

2.5.3 If the game started on the wrong map, the game has to be remade.

2.5.4 In order to do the remake, all the players have to leave the match. Start the next game as soon as possible. Both team captains will have to write ready again. If the team is not ready by 5 minutes after the remake, the team which is not ready will be disqualified. Game can be remade only once, the game has to be played in the way it started after the remake, even if the issues will occur. The situation can still be reported in the discord server.

2.5 After the match:

2.5.1 Once the match finishes, both team captains have to take a screenshot of the results and post it in the discord after each game.

2.5.2 On the game result screenshot, results above the scoreboard, all the players and information of the match on the right of the results have to be visible.

E.g: 

2.5.3 If one of the teams will not send the screenshot within 15 minutes of the match end, the screenshot which was sent by the other team will be taken into account.

2.5.4 If the screenshots of both teams are missing within 15 minutes of the match end, the game will not be counted and in case of BO1, both teams will be disqualified.

2.5.5 If the screenshots from both teams are not matching, the situation will be looked into by the admin team. The team which provided the incorrect screenshot can be disqualified or banned based on the circumstances.

2.5.6 If you would like to report a player or the team, write in Discord that you would like to make a report. Admin will take the conversation into personal messages. Do not write specific names or team names in Discord.

3. Competition Qualification

3.1 Entry Conditions: Participants must fill up the details and pay the registration fees, fulfill the entry conditions the registrations will be completed. For teams every member of the team must fulfill the entry conditions to enter the tournament.

3.2 The game account to be used in the competition MUST be same as the Game ID registered, participants who against this rule will disqualify the entire team.

4. Player Equipment

4.1 Setting: During the online phase, it is the responsibility of each team and / or player to ensure the quality of their internet connection and the performance of their devices. Whereas, during the presential stage, participants are allowed to use all the devices (keyboard, mouse, headset, computer) provided by the organizer.

5. Tournament Area and Schedule

5.1 Tournament Area: 

Semifinal and finals will be held as physical competition, participants MUST be arrived on the spot to continue participate the following matches (location: nearest SEGi College), participants who fail to do so, the entire team will be considered as disqualified.

5.2 Schedule: 

After the registration, the organizers will inform the date and times of the tournament.

6. Additional Rules

6.1 Flexibility of Rules

These rules may be amended, modified or supplemented by the organization of the event to ensure fair matches and the competitive integrity of the tournament.
