Event Description 

BIFRÖST RUN 2022: Run Against Breast Cancer is a virtual 10 km fun run fully organized by the students of Tuanku Bahiyah Residential College (KK2), University of Malaya. 

Register now, get your ticket, run at anytime, anywhere! We will be sending an invitation link for the Adidas Running Apps Community to your email address before the virtual run starts. Do check your mailbox regularly to join our community to run together and share your feelings and thoughts at the same time with the fellow runners.

We will be collaborating with University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) and UMMC Candy Girl Support group, providing a platform for an exciting and a different kind of fun run to raise fund for Breast Cancer Resource Centre of University of Malaya Medical Centre.

This Virtual Run is the first event to kickstart Bifröst Run 2022 and stay tuned for the upcoming PHYSICAL RUN in UM as well as other upcoming virtual and physical events.

Virtual Run is not the only event in BIFRÖST RUN 2022, there are more exciting and fun events waiting for you!!!

Completion of the Official Online Registration confirms the Participant’s intention to abide by the Event’s Terms and Conditions.

1. The Event is open to all Malaysians and foreigners who are currently studying/ working and staying in Malaysia.
2. This is a non-competitive event and there are no prizes for top finishers. 
3. Change in Runner Tee size after registration via ticketing platform is strictly not allowed. The Participant must adhere to the size registered in the registration form.
4. The virtual run starts from 25 July 2022 to 21 August 2022, participants can run at anytime in between.
   Note: It will be optional for the submission of the run completion proof, you may upload your result in this page. However, only the 10 km finishers with submitted result or proof (Adidas Running Apps) into the Ticket2U page is eligible to get the Finisher e-certificate as well as the merit marks (merit marks only for those who are currently studying in University of Malaya). No verification of the results as well as no volunteers, medical personnel and marshals will be provided due to the nature of a virtual running event.
5. The Organiser will neither entertain nor be in any way of responsibility for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate registration details in the registration form.
6. If the Participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or the Organiser has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, the Organiser may suspend or terminate the Participant’s registration, with no refund.
7. There will be strictly no refund available if the Event is cancelled or postponed for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser such as Movement Control Order or any kind of limiting Standard Operating Procedures set by government, or acts of God which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.
8. If the Participant is unable to participate in the Event, the entry fee and additional orders that has been paid will not be refunded.
9. The race kit will be delivered to the mailing address as provided in the registration form, The Organizer will not entertain any inaccurate address filled in and no refund for any race kit due to incomplete information.
10. Additional charges will apply for deliveries outside of Malaysia.
11. The items mentioned in the Participant's Entitlement or Race Kit are subjected to changes where the Organizer reserves the right to replace or remove the items.
12. By signing up and providing any information, personal or otherwise, in order to participate in the Event or any activity or activities relating to the Event, the Participant is deemed to have agreed/ given express permission of the following:
    • Authorization to the Organiser to collect, process, organise and retain personal data relating to the Participant.
    • The personal data of the Participant, including names, photographs and audio, and/ or visual recording, to be published and displayed for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and prior notification to the participants of the Event and/ or for statistical analysis for planning and improvement of the Event.
    • The Participant shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the Event if he/ she withdraws his/ her consent or authorization given at any time before the Event starts.
13. Participation is at the Participant's own risk. The Participant hereby release, waive, discharge, and relinquishes any action or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death which may occur during the Event or any pursuit incidental thereto. The Participant further agree that under no circumstances will they prosecute or present any claim against the Organiser, or any member, legal entity or person associated with the Event (together, the “Organiser’s vendors”) for any causes of action, personal injury, property damage, or death, whether the same shall arise by the negligence or non-intentional conduct of any of the Organiser during the Event or any pursuit incidental thereto.
14. The Participant acknowledges that participation in the Event may be physically strenuous. It is acknowledged that participation in the Event may be physically demanding and the Participant is aware of the nature of the Event and associated medical and physical risks involved.
15. The terms & conditions will be viewed and agreed by Parents or Legal Guardians (through the online entry process) in order to compete the registration and Parents or Legal Guardians will be taking full responsibility of any injuries or happenings that befall upon the Participant aged 17 and below. The Organiser will not be held accountable in any situation.
16. The Organiser reserves the right to vary any of the Terms and Conditions of the Event from time to time as they deem fit.
17. The Organiser reserves the right to change the Event Date or postpone or cancel the Event for any reason whatsoever including unforeseeable circumstances (i.e. due to occurrence of any incident, condition or event that are beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser and which, in the Organiser’s opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event such as haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism or other conditions) at any time without prior notice to the Participant, in which case the Organiser will inform the Participant prior to the Event Date.
18. If there is any inconsistency between the official website and the online ticketing portals, the Terms and Conditions on the official website shall prevail.
