A collaboration between 2 composers, Lawrence Chiu and Tan Zhi Yong who share their appreciation for nature through music and art. The concert will include some written material and some poetry recited between various pieces of music.

Dirt, or soil as it is referred to in this context, is a very significant part of nature. It is the largest natural water filter on our planet, and it is second only to our oceans as the biggest repository of carbon on the planet. In choosing the title ‘Dirt’ for this concert, we wanted to convey that sometimes we use ‘dirt’ to describe soil with the meaning that it is dirty. However, everything in nature is connected. The soil is home to a variety of animals, plants, and microbial life that makes many antibiotics to help us fight infections. Dirt is incredible.

ABOUT COMMUNITY CHAMBER
As a series of community outreach programmes, the Community Chamber series will bring together international and local chamber groups to perform in unconventional venues. Through live chamber music performances, workshops and talks in a casual setting, such as at cafes and shops, we hope to broaden the reach of music awareness and develop an interest in music in the young generations.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1: TERMS APPLYING TO ALL TICKETS PURCHASED

• The concert starts at 5.00 pm and ends at 6.00 pm.
• Entrance will be opened at 4.30 pm. 
• The concert is for all ages.
• Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by adults.
• One ticket is for one attendee.
• We reserve the right to make alterations to the advertised details for the performance at short notice (for example performer’s changes). 
• No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances except pursuant to the cancellation condition.
• Entry and access will be refused if the tickets have not been purchased from Ticket2U or other authorised points of sale.

2. RULES OF ADMISSIONS

• You need a valid Ticket2U QR Code which must be produced upon arrival.
• We may add, withdraw or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements and audience capacity without prior notice.
• We bear no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to your personal property.
• Concession tickets are non-transferable. Please note that random checks on concession tickets will be conducted at the point of entry
  Patrons unable to present proof of eligibility are required to upgrade their concession tickets to full price tickets.

3. HEALTH AND SAFETY

• For health & safety reasons, wheelchair users are not permitted to transfer into fixed seating.
• We adhere to the vaccination policy set by the venue partner, Black Kettle.
• The ticket holder agrees to submit to any search for any prohibited items including weapons, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances.
• We reserve the right to take disciplinary actions in the instance of abuse of alcohol and any illegal substances.

4. ADDITIONAL TERMS APPLYING TO TICKET PURCHASES FROM TICKET2U

• All tickets for admission are sold through our online ticketing website: www.ticket2u.com.my
• Please read these terms carefully before ordering any tickets.
• You will need to click the box denoting your understanding of these terms in the course of your purchase of tickets to confirm your acceptance of these terms. By doing so, you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions. If you don’t accept these terms, you will not be able to order any Tickets from Ticket2U. 
• The price of any Tickets will be as quoted on Ticket2u.com.my.
• Ticket confirmation will be emailed to you after your purchase.

5. EVENT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT AND REFUND

• If the concert is postponed due to covid restrictions, reservations will be valid for the subsequent date.
• In the event of cancellation, Ticket2U will refund on behalf of The Rondo production. All purchasers are required to follow Ticket2U refund procedure.
• We may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control.
