The "NORTH BORNEO RACE "is a competition between teams of four in a race around the Kota Kinabalu City, teams tasked to deduce clues, navigate themselves in Kota Kinabalu City, interact with local and perform physical and mental challenges that often highlight aspects of a location's history and economy. Over the course of the  RACE, teams travel by cars, and by foot. For every Clues to their next destination, teams will perform task, typically at least one roadblock and they will receive clues upon completion of each task.

"NORTH BORNEO RACE ' adalah pertandingan antara empat pasukan dalam perlumbaan di sekitar Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu, pasukan akan ditugaskan untuk menyimpulkan petunjuk, mengemudi sendiri di Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu, berinteraksi dengan tempatan dan melakukan cabaran fizikal dan mental yang sering menyerlahkan aspek sejarah lokasi dan ekonomi. Sepanjang PERLUMBAAN, pasukan akan menaiki  kereta (GRAB) hanya untuk destinasi tertentu, dan berjalan kaki. setiap Petunjuk ke destinasi, pasukan akan melaksanakan satu tugas atau halangan yang di panggil " ROADBLOCK" hanya setelah selesai tugasan atau sekatan pasukan akan menerima kad " ROUTE INFO " untuk destinasi seterusnya

I, undersigned, agree not to hold the organiser and co-organisers, their representatives and sponsors against all cost, expense or liability that arise in consequence of my participation in the, I hereby waive all claims for any and all injuries, death and invalidity to me or the person under my care which may be caused by any act, or failure to act by the organiser, members and employees arising directly or indirectly during the course of event or arising as a result of it. In consideration of the Organiser accepting this entry, I hereby assume liability for any loss, damage or liability from the above event.
