Creating Tomorrow's User Experience: A UI/UX Design Workshop is an online, hands-on workshop designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of UI/UX design. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience in the field, this workshop will give you a solid foundation in the principles, tools, and techniques used by professional designers to create engaging and effective user experiences.

Through a series of interactive exercises and activities, participants will learn how to conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and design beautiful, intuitive interfaces. They will also gain a deeper understanding of the importance of user-centered design and the role it plays in creating successful products and services.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid grasp of the design process and the tools and techniques used by UX/UI designers. They will also have a hands-on project that they can add to their portfolio and showcase their newly acquired skills.

  • Background on the speaker’s experiences and previous projects to give an overall overview of UI/UX design.

Introduction to UI/UX
  • Brief explanation on the differences between UI design and UX design.

  • Different types of industry in UI/UX.

 12.30 p.m. - 1.30 p.m.

Design process (UX design)

  • Overview of a UX design from scratch that includes 6 phases.

 1.30 p.m. - 1.40 p.m.
Break time
1.40 p.m. - 2.00 p.m.

Design principles (UI design)

  • Overview of design principles to look out for when designing.

2.00 p.m. - 2.30 p.m.

Practice time

  • Demonstrate UI design on Figma.

  • Participants can follow along with the practice.

 2.30 p.m. - 2.45 p.m.

Q&A session

  • A session where I’ll be selecting some questions to answer. Limited questions will be selected.

  • Participants can send questions through a website anonymously and I’ll be answering them.
