COMEDY GENIUS MICHAEL HUI IS SET TO BRING GREAT TALK SHOW!

5 February, Kuala Lumpur - If you are in need of a laugh, don’t miss the upcoming standup comedy gig slated on April 18, 2015 at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands at 8:30pm by Hong Kong’s comedian Michael Hui.

After a 4-year hiatus, Michael Hui is finally Back in action! Needing no props or magic tricks to enhance his act, Michael is always capable of generating heavy dose of laughter with his “never-short-of” humorous stories, jokes and one-liners. He has always been in the forefront for this type of jokes – observational comedy where he uses his wittiness to poke fun at subjects of current affairs, men and women, politics and modern issues.

“Change the way you view the world and it will make your everyday life a bit more fun,” said Michael, who has always remained cheerful, hopeful and inspired by his life experiences.

He said, a standup comedy show, an important rule is never follows a script. This upcoming standby comedy in Malaysia is Michael’s 2nd tour performance after Macau. Titled “Difficult to Distinguish True and False”, it is anticipated to be an entertaining performance that suits both refined and popular tastes.

Having acted in 28 movies, written the screenplay for 12, directed eight and produced four films, the illustrious funnyman has received several nominations for acting, directing and screenplay. In 1982, Michael won the best actor award at the first Hong Kong Film Awards (Hong Kong’s version of the Oscars) for Security Unlimited (Mo Deng Bao Biau).

Organized by Star Planet, tickets for Michael Hui’s Standup Comedy 2015 are priced at RM550 (VVIP)， RM450 (VIP)， RM370 (PS1)， RM330 (PS2)， RM290 (PS3)， RM210 (PS4) and RM130 (PS5) (*prices exclude RM4 processing fee).

Ticket sale will officially commence on 14 February from 11am. First 800 tickets sold will get a 15% discount.
