With unwavering optimism and deep reverence, we find ourselves at the forefront of an audacious endeavor: to infuse new life into these architectural marvels through the fusion of electronic music. This venture heralds a rebirth of communal spirit and artistic expression, offering a show where the nostalgia of yesteryears intertwines seamlessly with the euphoria of electronic beats. In this fourth iteration of Kuantum, attendees will be transported on this journey by local DJs like Intermissions, Gasing, Rimka, LZZY, and Nazreth. Nazreth
Nazreth is all about experimental sounds. He cites “cosmic, pulsating, hypnotic beats” as his tool to guide listening minds to drift into unknown territories where self-realization awaits. As a DJ, his biggest milestones have been sessions of sharing decks with SOEL (from Afterlife and Plangent), Barker (Ostgut Ton) Blue Hour (Ostgut Ton), Stelios Vassiloudis and Caravel (Tapage Nocturne). Co-founded Voidrealm, Kuantum, and Modulus as his unwavering commitment to differentiating and elevating the event experience. Each concept, a testament to his creative prowess, offers an unparalleled journey into the realms of art, music, and technology.
LZZY
LZZY is a Malaysia-based self-taught DJ, who has gone from teenage bedroom selector to regional club regular. From her early days of drawing inspiration by dancing to fidget electro, to spending summers in Europe inhaling genres of all forms, LZZY’s sound has since grown to cover what she labels as high-energy party music. After 10 years in the scene, she has graced the decks from Bali, Tokyo to Amsterdam. You can find her dropping disco on a Sunday afternoon or creating chaos on the dancefloor with pulsing House, Crunchy Techno, and dollops of Acid
Rimka
Raised in a multicultural home and nourished by multi-genre music from around the world, her life in Paris steeped her taste in electronic music and its sub-genres. Hitting the party capitals of the world from Ibiza to Berlin to catch top acts further fuelled her love for the scene. Currently based in Kuala Lumpur, a city with a rapidly growing underground scene, she’s sharing her love for music inspired by her frequent travels to different parts of the world, absorbing their unique sound and vibe to create her distinctive sets and productions. Playing at some of the best house and techno nights in the city has seen her spin from major capitals like NYC to islands like Bali. Her passion for the house/techno genre infused with her unique blend of global ethnic-centric music, has seen her go from strength to strength with every set she plays, transporting her audience onto exotic cerebral mindscapes. This dedication to her craft has gained her opening spots for international DJs such as Re.You, You And Me, Sabb, Matthias Meyer, Technasia, Bas Iberlini, Amine K, Basti Grub, David Squillace, Stefano Noferini, Nora en Pure, Nico Pusch and Alle Farben to name a few.
Gasing
A regular fixture at some of Kuala Lumpur’s hottest venues with 4 strong years in the industry, the young selector slithers through raw, driving, ,bass-heavy and dissonant sound in his sets, heavily influenced by his time in Bristol, UK, as well as a long-lasting love for vocal house and disco splashed in between, keeping the room hot and sweaty all night long. Gasing has a way of commanding crowds with his sets, with significant club experience, he believes the art stems from the consistent search for new sound spanning all genres, and connecting with the souls in a room. Have played at venues and festivals such as the WetDeck @ the W Hotel, The Iron Fairies KL, Pisco, Clock Factory Bristol, Keystone Crescent, Love Saves the Day, and many more. Sharing stages with acts such as Mall Grab, Salute, KETTAMA, Pretty Girl, and Surusinghe to name a few, he has quickly became the youngest Malaysian crowd favorite, holding a residency on the SaturdaySelects roster.

535eye is a visual artist, organizer, and DJ based in Malaysia. Intrigued by the process and his immediate surroundings, you will find an emphasis on spontaneity, rhythmic repetition, and simulated chaos. With a monthly residency at Fono with his crew Intermission, he can also be found organizing community-driven parties at odd venues, doing projection mapping playing music, or simply to just have good fun.
REXFEST
Marking its 5th anniversary since its transformative relaunch as downtown Kuala Lumpur's cultural and creative hub, REXKL proudly introduces the first-ever REXFEST, a vibrant festival celebrating the city's rich history, arts, and community spirit. Hosted in collaboration with Connor’s Stout Porter, REXFEST is set to take place from 24 Nov to 26 Nov 2023. Ticketed events go on sale at xx on xx.
