In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUKM where x = independently organized TED event.

At our TEDxUKM event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individualTEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Global transformation and digital advancements reshape the society at large. The near omnipresent Internet creates a multitude of opportunities for everyone and anyone.

Indubitably, to truly advance as a first world nation, we need to seize these opportunities and be open to learning. In tune with such realisation we have chosen the theme “Be Changed or Be Undone" to spark conversation and to create awareness towards the constant changes in our modern society.
