Terms and Conditions of Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition

How To Enter

1. In order to participate in the Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition (“Competition”), applicants are required to apply online by logging on to: http://t2u.asia/e/33665 (“Website”) and complete the online registration form before 6 December 2023 before the closing time of 11.59pm. 
2. All fields that are marked mandatory must be completed by the applicant. 
3. An applicant will be directed to an online payment portal after submitting the complete application form and the online payment shall be made. 
4. Each application must be accompanied by a payment online whereby the fees for entering shall be RM30 per team (excluding processing fee). 
5. Registration starts 21 November 2023 – 6 December 2023. The decision in accepting any application submitted after the announcement of registration closure shall be at Atria Shopping Gallery Sdn Bhd (“the Organiser”) and Malaysian Busker (“the Event Partner”) sole and absolute discretion.
6. The confirmation of the participation of an applicant is subject to the discretion of the Organiser and the Event Partner. The Organiser and its Event Partner shall be entitled to reject any application without assigning any reason thereto.
7. No refunds shall be provided once the registration form is submitted and payment of the Fee is made save and except where expressly provided for herein.
8. All registration forms shall be retained and shall be the property to the Organiser and Event Partner and shall be dealt with as the Organiser and its Event Partner deems fit.
9. All terms and conditions stated herein and, in the Website, shall be deemed accepted once the online registration form is completed and the online payment is made.

Eligibility

1. Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition is open to all unsigned musicians, buskers or any bands from any music academy / school, all genders, nationalities, religions and must be 18 years old and above. 
2. The team consist of a maximum of seven (7) Participants. The team may consist of participants aged 18 years old and below, however a written consent from the parents or guardian must be sent via email to [email protected] and [email protected].  
3. No solo or duo participants will be accepted to participate in this competition. Participants who have signed contract with major recording company will be disqualified in participating in this Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition. 
4. Each team is required to perform 2 songs in which mandatory song would be “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” in rock and roll music arrangement. Another song must be in Rock and Roll genre of any choice of song (can be an English or Malay song). 
5. The choice of song must not contain vulgarities, profanities, racism, violence, sexual or even political elements. 
6. Each team is given 20 minutes to be on the stage including set-up, performance and dismantling of team equipment. 
7. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize worth RM5,000 and an opportunity to perform in Chinese New Year campaign in 2024. 

Liability & Responsibility

1. The applicant shall be responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information provided in the registration form. The Organiser and its Event Partner shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever to check and verify the information and/or consent so given.
2. The participant hereby acknowledges that he/she takes part in the competition at his/her own risks and he/she shall assume full liability and responsibility for any mishap, injury, damage, accident, ill health or death suffered by him/her and hereby releases and holds the Organiser, their sponsors and their employees, agents and appointed officials harmless from any liability of whatsoever nature.
3. By participating, the participant is assumed to be fit and able to participate in the competition and where applicable, had consulted his/her medical practitioner.

Rights of Organiser

1. The Organiser and its Event Partner reserve the right to amend the route for the Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition as the Organiser and its Event Partner deems fit and any amendments/variations will be made known by way of notice posted on the Atria Shopping Gallery Official Website (www.atria.com.my) / Official Facebook Fans Page (fb.com/atriadj), email and such other form as the Organiser may decide and the participant is deemed to have due notice of the same. The Organiser shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such amendments/variations.
2. The Organiser and its Event Partner reserve the rights to delay and/or cancel the Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition n upon occurrence of any event beyond the control of the Organiser including (but not limited to) acts of God, flood, fire, embargo, riot, war, natural disaster without any refund of the Fee.
3. The Organiser and its Event Partner reserve the sole and absolute rights to remove any participant whom in the Organiser’s sole opinion, is guilty of jostling, obstructing or is involved in acts of nuisance and/or aggression. 
4. The Organiser and its Event Partner reserve the rights to use the names, photographs and video recordings taken before, during and after the Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition for purposes of advertising and/or publicity without any prior notice to the applicant/participant and the applicant/participant shall not claim ownership or compensation for such materials.
5. The Organiser’s and its Event Partner’s decision on all matters relating to the Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition shall be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempt to dispute such decision will be entertained.
6. The Organiser and its Event Partner reserve the rights to change, amend, delete or add to the terms and conditions of the Atria Christmas Rock & Roll Jamming Battle Competition without prior notice and the applicant/participant shall be bound by such changes.
