1000 Hearts Charity Run is an initiative by Batang Padang Hokkien Association, organized by Youth Division. The objectives is to raise funds for a year of free tuition classes for Bahasa Malaysia and English for children under 10 years of age in the vicinity of Batang Padang.

Race Categories
The race will have a single Open Category, for participants 15 years of age and above.

Donation Drive
A donation drive will be held at the race site, to assist in raising additional funds for the event.

Lucky Draw
Race participants will be entitled to take part in the lucky draw on the same day, and stand a chance to win sponsored prizes.

Registration
Registration will open on 9th February, 2015. Offline registration is also available at selected locations in Tapah.

Terms and Condition

*The organizer will not be responsible for any injury, accident or death, however caused before, during or after the event. *Online registration is available at http://event.tagteam.my/1000heartscharity/registration. *All prospective participants must complete this entry form in order to participate in the run. Completion of the official entry form, including manual registration, confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by all event Rules and Regulations. *Registration for participation in the run is only confirmed upon the successful completion of the run entry form, entry fee payment and issuance of a unique run QR code/ Receipt. *QR code (Online Registration)/ Receipt (Manual Registration has to be shown upon race pack collection. *For UTAR, UiTM, and TAR College participants, student Identification Card has to be shown with the receipt upon race pack collection, or otherwise, the student will be deemed as the normal entry and the amount difference of the registration fee needed to be made at the venue. *There will be no fee refund if the registrant chooses not to participate in the Race for any reason and the race slots are strictly non-transferable. *The Organiser reserve the right to cancel or postpone the run at any time with or without prior notice to the Participant, in which case they will make reasonable effort to inform the Participant prior to the date of the event. If the run has to be postponed, there shall be no refund of fees paid and the Organisers shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience postponed caused. *The Organisers reserve the right to amend the run routes as they deem fit for the safety of the Participant and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the event, at any time without prior notice to the Participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participant prior to the day / date of the event. The Organisers shall not be liable for any other loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes. *Participants must complete their registration details with true, accurate and current information. Inaccurate or incomplete information can be grounds for disqualification or barring from the even with no issuance of a refund. *Participants must agree to receive contact from the event Organisers from time to time by email. Any notice sent by email by the organizer or the party so assigned by the Organisers to the supplied address on the registration form shall be deemed received by the Participant. *The Organiser will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to the belongings and items.
