The HandleBards are a troupe of actors who cycle environmentally sustainable Shakespeare plays to outdoor venues across the UK.

In 2024 they will be touring their new production of Macbeth From Singapore to Malaysia and to Thailand and will be travelling overland by train, bus and taxi in a bid to reduce their touring emissions.

Forget the tears and tragedy, this all-female, laugh-out-loud production will be Macbeth like you’ve never seen before. With music, mayhem and more costume changes than you can Shake a spear at, expect The HandleBards irreverent, charming and hilarious style to come bursting on to the stage.
