Details

For the first time in 15 years, APACRS is bringing its annual meeting back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to be held from 5 to 8 August 2015. Together with regional and international cataract and refractive societies as well as the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus (WSPOS), and in partnership with the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology (MSO), we have planned yet another outstanding scientific program with live surgery, symposia, wetlabs, and MasterClasses.

The 28th APACRS annual meeting will be held at the world-class, award-winning Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Within walking distance are the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. Standing tall at 1,483 feet with 88 floors, the towers are among the seven tallest skyscrapers in the world. The towers are joined on the 41st and 42nd floors by a skybridge, the highest double-decker bridge in the world, forming a portal to the sky.

While a thriving cosmopolitan capital, Kuala Lumpur also boasts convenient access to a wide variety of natural attractions, including beaches, island resorts, virgin rainforests, and some of the best diving sites in the world.

Join us at the 28th APACRS annual meeting in 2015 for an intellectually stimulating program and at the same time experience Malaysia's Rich Heritage of Culture, Food, and Natural Wonders!
