YYC, a leading professional services firm in Malaysia, celebrates a significant milestone this year—its 50th anniversary. In honor of this golden jubilee, we are excited to present the YYC Charity Run 2024, a flagship initiative marking half a century of service and excellence.

This event is not just a celebration of our past achievements but a forward-looking initiative aimed at harnessing our collective strength to give back to the community. 

Through the YYC Charity Run, we aim to rally businesses and individuals to contribute to a range of charitable causes, making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need across Malaysia.

All proceeds generated will be directed towards House of Love, specifically allocated for food distribution in collaboration with 448 Foodbank.

Race Pack Collection

Please collect your race pack using ONE of the options below:

Option 1: Collect at YYC HQ Office in Pudu

• Dates available: 9/10/16/17 August 2024 (Fridays and Saturdays)

Option 2: Collect from the Registration Counter on Race Day

• Date: 7 September 2024 (Saturday)
• Time: 6 AM – 6:30 AM
• Location: Registration Counter, MRANTI Park, Bukit Jalil

Note: Please present a valid Confirmation Email and Identification Card/Passport during collection. Race packs can only be collected on the specified dates and times. We will NOT accommodate requests to collect race kits outside these periods.

Option 3: Courier Service

• Courier Postage Date: Starting from August 5, 2024
• Courier Fee: RM 10.00 per race pack (to be paid upon registration)

Our Charity Collaborator

We are proud to partner with leading charitable organizations dedicated to making a difference in our community. Together, we aim to amplify our impact, touching lives and fostering positive change across Malaysia. All proceeds generated will be directed towards House of Love, specifically allocated for food distribution in collaboration with 448 Foodbank.

House of Love is a Charitable and Christian Organization, (Children Home) for the orphaned, abandoned, abused, and neglected children. Its aim is to provide physical, spiritual, mentally, socially and educational well-being for these children.

448 Food Bank is a charitable organization which focuses on establishing a sustainable food bank to ensure a continuous supply of necessities to those in need, recruiting volunteers to support its activities and foster community service.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The organizer reserves the right to close entries before the deadline without any notice once the race quota is full.
   Payment for tickets must be made in full at the time of purchase. The organisers accepts payment through authorized payment methods only.

   1.2  Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tickets(s). It is your responsibility to ensure that accuracy of the information provided during the booking process.
2. Entry forms will only be processed upon receipt of full payment of entry fee.
3. The organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse entries without reason.
4. The organizer reserves the right to contact and to interview applicants by phone or otherwise for additional information required for matters relating to their applications.
5. Entry fees are non-refundable. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entries once the entry is accepted if any applicants provide false information, do not make the required payment, or fail to meet entry requirements as stated in the entry form.
6. Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the organizer (including heavy rain, thunder storm or disaster, public rally), no refund of the entry fee will be made and the organizer shall have no further responsibility and/or liability thereafter.
7. Running is not a ‘Risk Free’ sport and therefore each runner must ensure his/her health condition is fit before participating and during the race.  Each runner shall be responsible with his/her own health/condition. The organizer shall be responsible for personal injury or death during or after the race due to gross negligence of the organizer.
8. The organizer reserves the right to disallow/ disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event. Should a runner get injured during the race, on case by case basis as recommended by medical team as appointed by the organizer to monitor the race, such runner may be treated in hospital as designated by the organizer with a treatment cost not exceeding the amount agreed by the organizer and the relevant hospital circumstances.
9. The organizer and its agents will not be held responsible for any issues relating to parking at the venue.  Participants are advised to follow the instructions given by traffic personnel for proper parking. The organizer and its agent will not be held responsible due to losses suffered in the event of break ins or vandalism to the vehicles of participants.  Proper vigilance must be exercised by all participants when parking their vehicles.

GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

All participants must agree to the rules and regulations before registering for the race:

• The minimum age for participation is five (5) years old at the date of the event. No pets, or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. inline skates, prams, strollers, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers are not allowed on the course during the race except official race and medical vehicles. Organiser reserves the right to remove participants who fail to adhere to the stipulated rules and regulations from the race route immediately.
