The National Choir of Malaysia was established in 1991 by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. From 2004 till today, it was run entirely by the Department of Culture and the Arts (JKKN). In recognition of its 23 years of establishment, JKKN intends to hold the Malaysian National Choir Concert: Tribute To P. Ramlee with the National Symphony Orchestra. The songs and rhythms of this event is an amazing and artistic manifestation of the work of Tan Sri P. Ramlee, the country’s iconic performing artist. It uniquely combines singing, music and acting elements as a tribute to the golden era of the film industry.
