Join us for a historic Faisal Cup Final at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil on 13th July!!!! 

Experience the excitement and spirit of the 16th Faisal Cup finals, a football tournament dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities. 

This year, we're proud to host the final matches (11-a-side) in Malaysia's largest stadium, a testament to the growth and impact of the Faisal Cup.


Event Agenda:

  • 12.30pm: Gate Opens
  • 1.30pm: 3rd Place Match (1st Half)
  • 2.30pm: 3rd Place Match (2nd Half)
  • 4.00pm: Opening of Final Match (performance by Catholic High School Band)
  • 4.30pm: Final Match (1st Half)
  • 5.00pm: Final Match (2nd Half)
  • 6.45pm: Special Closing Performance (330 children drummers, choir and dancers)
  • 7.00pm: Speech by Dignity's Co-Founder, Rev. Elisha Satvinder
  • 7.10pm: Speech by Minister of Youth and Sports, YB Puan Hannah Yeoh
  • 7.20pm: Award Ceremony/ Prize Giving
  • 8.00pm: Faisal Cup Tribute Video
  • 8.15pm: End

About the Faisal Cup: The Faisal Cup began in 2007, inspired by the tragic passing of a student named Faisal, who drowned while retrieving a football from the Gombak River. This tournament was created to ensure that children from underprivileged backgrounds have safe and equal opportunities to play sports. It stands as a beacon of hope, peace, and dignity, ensuring that no child ever faces such a tragedy again.

Since its inception, over 10,911 children and youths from 1,434 teams across Klang Valley have participated. The tournament has even expanded to Penang and Johor, with 30 teams joining in 2019 and 2023.

This year (2024), we have 121 teams from 37 learning centres/schools participating. Preliminary rounds are on 8th and 15th June, with Quarter and Semi-Finals on 29th June.

Join us for this extraordinary event and be a part of a movement that champions "SPORTS FOR ALL."

    • Each ticket admits one person only.
    • Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

  3. Safety and Security:

    • For the safety and security of all attendees, bags and personal belongings may be subject to search upon entry.
    • No weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous items are allowed at the venue.
  4. Photography and Videography:

    • By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded. The organizers may use these images and recordings for promotional purposes without compensation.
  5. Liability:

    • The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.

Dignity for Children Foundation

Dignity for Children Foundation is a non-governmental organization that provides holistic care and education for urban poor children in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.Our work began in 1998 in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur with only 20 students then. Dignity is now a learning centre with more than 2,100 children enrolled annually (from over 25 nationalities) ranging from 4-19 years old. Dignity provides quality education and care in a secure environment for pre-school to Form 5. From Toddler to Primary, the Montessori method of education is used, and Cambridge IGCSE ‘O’ level for the Secondary students. Together with the academic components, Dignity teaches employability skills through its Skills Training and Employability Program. Dignity operates 5 Transformational Enterprises in Sentul, and a Farm Academy in Bentong, Pahang.
