4PAWS Pawathon 2015 will be organized at Straits Quay, Penang on 5 July 2015.
* Due to popular demand & the successful run of Pawathon 2014, we are back with the 2nd edition, this time bigger & more meaningful!
* We are calling for dog owners & their beloved pet to participate in a charity run to raise fund for a no-kill dog shelter.
* At the same time, a campaign to bring awareness on the importance of spaying/neutering of pets is carry out in conjunction with this event.

* Please make sure your dogs are leashed at ALL TIME during the Paw-a-thon event. * Dogs must be of good temperament, means they are not too aggressive and can be controlled. * Pregnant bitches, bitches on heat, dogs of poor and/or questionable health are immediately disqualified. This also includes dogs that show signs of being mistreated and abuse. * Please be responsible for your dog's litter. Owners are required to clean up any feces should their dog(s) ease themselves within Straits Quay compounds. * All children below 12 years of age must not be left unattended and must be accompanied by an adult. * Anyone seen mistreating any animal during the event will be escorted off the grounds and disqualified. * Organizing committees have the final authority in determining the suitability of any dogs in any event held on Paw-a-thon. Any complaints will not be entertained. * Runners that run without dogs are not qualified for ranking and trophies but will be entitled to a finisher medal as long as he/she finished the race within the stipulated time of 2 hours. * Runners that carry the dogs while running/walking will be disqualified for ranking and trophies but will be entitled for a finisher medal as long as he/she finished the race within the stipulated time of 2 hours. * Dogs are NOT allowed to be inside the shopping mall.
