RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. Only aged below 18 are able to join the competition.

  2. Participants can compete as solo performers, duos, or groups.

  3. Any talent is welcome as long as it’s safe, appropriate, and within the event guidelines.

  4. ALL participants shall fill up all the details in the registration form provided by the Organiser.

  5. The organiser reserves the rights to disqualify any participants if they do not follow the rules and regulations.

  6. Any injury cause will not responsible  by SEGi.

  7. There will be a RM 10 registration fees for each team and  a RM 40 deposit will be collected from each team (will be returned on the day of the event ). Please take note that the deposit will not be returned back if the team does not show up that day/ sudden request to quit participation. Deposit shall be returned during the event itself.

RM50 per team (RM40 deposit will be returned back on that day at registration counter)

  1. Maximum 10 members in a group.

  2. The competition will be on the floor with 20 x 13 feet of floor sticker as the “stage”.

  3. Each participant is allowed to join a maximum of two teams only. 

  4. There will be no rehearsals.

  5. Teams are allowed to exchange their  order.

*Teams shall exchange with other teams at their own discussion, but must inform the Organiser about the final decision latest by one week before the competition.

  1. Change of members shall be requested within 7 days of registration and subject to the Organiser’s approval. 

  2. Performance duration should be capped at a maximum of 5 minutes.

  3. Crew must bring along a USB flash drive of recorded music to keep a back-updevice available at all times for use.

  4. NO racism is allowed in this competition.

  5. As the competition is for educational purposes, participants are not allowed to wear revealing clothing during the competition. No Cross Gender Attire, No Crop-Tops, No Revealing of Skin and Please Appreciate the Malaysia and Educational Culture.  
  6. Only guitar, keyboard, and violin are allowed; other instruments are not permitted.

  7. Usage of props is allowed with prior approval from the organiser (chair, hat,bag,etc.). However, there are limitations such as powder, gels, glitter, confetti, aerosols or liquid are strictly not allowed.
  8. The Organiser reserves the rights to use any photography and videography, recordings or any other media records produced by the organiser during the event for any legitimate and/or lawful purpose including but not limited to any commercial advertisement, publicity and marketing of similar events. 

  9. The Organiser WILL NOT hold any responsibility for any injuries that happen during the Competition.

  10. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without prior notice.

  11. The decision of the panel judges will be deemed final. No correspondence or further discussion will be entertained.

  12. Participants are fully responsible for their own safety, any damages to equipment or the venue, and any emergencies that may arise during their performance.

  2. 比赛将在 20 x 13 英尺的地贴上帖子,作为“舞台”。

  3. 每位参赛者最多可加入两个团队。

  4. 将不会进行任何排练或彩排。

  5. 队伍之间允许交换比赛出场顺序。

*队伍之间须自行商议交换顺序,并必须将最终决定最迟在比赛一个礼拜前告知主办方。

  1.  更换成员须在报名后7天内提出申请,并须经主办方批准。

  2. 表演时长应限制在最多5分钟内。

  3. 参赛团队需随身携带已录制音乐的USB闪存盘,以备不时之需。

  4. 竞赛中严禁任何种族歧视行为。

  5.  由于比赛是教育性质的,参赛者不得在比赛中穿着暴露的服装。禁止异性装扮,禁止穿露脐装,禁止裸露皮肤,请遵循马来西亚文化和教育文化。

  6. 只允许吉他、键盘和小提琴,其他乐器不被接受。

  7. 使用道具需事先获得主办方批准(椅子、帽子、包等)。然而,严禁使用粉末、凝胶、闪光粉、彩纸、喷雾剂或液体等道具。

  8. 主办方保留使用比赛期间所制作的任何摄影、录像或其他媒体记录的权利,用于任何合法目的,包括但不限于商业广告、宣传及类似活动的市场营销。

  9. 对于比赛期间发生的任何伤害,主办方不承担任何责任。

  10. 主办方保留未经事先通知修改规则和规定的权利。

  11. 评审团的决定为最终决定。不接受任何通信或进一步讨论。

  12. 参与者须对自身安全、任何设备或场地损坏,以及演出期间发生的任何紧急情况负全责。
