General Terms & Conditions – MSUMC Run
1. Event Organizer
a) The MSUMC Run is organized by MSU Medical Centre.
2. Participation Requirements
b) All participants must be officially registered and must complete an official MSUMC Run to be considered eligible for participation.
3. Registration
- Registration is non-transferable and non-refundable, regardless of the reason for non-participation.
- Participants must ensure that all personal information provided during registration is accurate and complete.
4. Route and Checkpoints
- All participants must follow the designated Fun Run route and pass through all official checkpoints.
5. Event Cancellation
- The event may be cancelled in the case of severe weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances for safety reasons.
6. Photography & Media Consent
- By participating, all runners agree to allow the organiser to use photos or videos taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes.
7. Safety & Health Advisory
- While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, all runners participate at their own risk.
- The organisers will not be held liable for any injury, illness, or death that may occur during training or participation.
- All participants are strongly advised to undergo a medical check-up or consult a healthcare professional before registering and prior to race day.
8. Weather-Related Delays or Cancellations
- The organiser reserves the right to delay the start of the race in the event of heavy rain, thunderstorms, or extreme weather.
- If adverse conditions persist, the organiser may cancel the race without any refund.
- In the event of natural disasters or unforeseen events causing cancellation or postponement, the organiser shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, or damages.
9. Postponement or Cancellation by Organiser
- The organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the MSUMC Run at any time, with or without prior notice.
- In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to inform participants about any changes or the rescheduled date.
10. Amendments
- The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
11. Parental Responsibility
- Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the safety and supervision of their children throughout the event.
- The organiser will not be held liable for any incidents involving minors.
