World Family Doctor Day (WFDD) is celebrated annually to recognize the vital role of family doctors in healthcare. In 2025, the occasion will be commemorated with a FitCPR Run in Putrajaya, emphasizing the importance of both physical and mental well-being. This event will bring together healthcare professionals and the community to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about mental health under the theme “Mind & Heart in Motion: Run, Breathe, Rescue!”
This year, in collaboration with Klinik As-Salam, FitCPR, a mass community CPR training session, will be introduced alongside the fun run, reinforcing the connection between heart health and mental resilience. Cardiac arrest and mental health crises share a crucial need—rapid recognition and timely action can mean the difference between life and loss. This event aims to equip individuals with essential CPR skills while promoting mental well-being through physical activity, community engagement, and education.
Additionally, this event offers an exciting opportunity to achieve recognition in the The Malaysia Book of Records, for the "MOST PARTICIPANTS IN A CPR THEMED RUN", further amplifying its impact and significance. We aim to make a difference—one step, one heartbeat, and one resilient mind at a time.
