THEME: Advancing Technologies in Pipeline Materials, Design, Construction, Monitoring and Maintenance for Water and Sewerage Systems

The Specialised Conference will focus on some of the priority areas on what it will take to make water transformation operational soonest possible. The water problems we face are obvious, and the solutions are there available. What’s missing is the real execution i.e. Operationalizing Water Transformation. Hence the stakeholders and participants are invited to discuss and share experiences on ways we can help turn policies and concepts to implementable actions in the holistic transformation of our water sector.

Main Conference Objectives:

  1. To promote the adoption of advanced technologies in pipeline materials, design, construction, monitoring, and maintenance within the water and sewerage industry.

  2. To provide a platform for industry professionals and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions in water and sewerage system management.

  3. To enhance understanding of smart water technologies including SCADA systems, IoT, digital twins, and real-time monitoring tools for improved operational efficiency and sustainability.

  4. To support capacity building and upskilling of engineers, utility managers, regulators, and technical personnel through exposure to current trends, case studies, and expert insights.

  5. To address challenges in aging infrastructure and regulatory compliance, while encouraging sustainable development and resilience in urban water infrastructure systems.
