✅ TERMS & CONDITIONS (CONFERENCE)
Please read the terms and conditions below before proceeding with the booking:
- The registration fee includes the event proceedings, materials, certificate of attendance, and refreshments (where applicable).
- The membership rate is only applicable to active MWA Members (with no arrears and fees fully settled for 2025).
- Service Tax (SST) Compliance The Malaysian Water Association (MWA) is registered under the Service Tax Act 2018 (SST Reg. No.: W10-2506-28000339), effective 1 July 2025. All taxable services related to this conference, including registration fees and sponsorship entitlements, are subject to 8% Service Tax (SST). All prices listed are INCLUSIVE of 8% SST. A tax invoice will be issued in compliance with Malaysian tax regulations.
- All cancellation requests shall adhere to the following timeline and terms:
(i) Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to the Secretariat at [email protected].
(ii) A 50% refund will be granted for cancellations made on or before 4 August 2025.
(iii) No refund will be given for cancellations made after 4 August 2025, or for no-shows.
(iv) Refunds will be processed within one month after the event (after 20 August 2025), with a penalty deduction of RM200.00.
(v) All refunds will be subject to deduction of any bank service charges, convenience fees, administrative charges, or applicable taxes. - By submitting this signed registration form, participants consent to MWA collecting and using their contact details for future marketing activities by MWA or its partners.
- Copyright and Intellectual Property: Redistribution or reproduction of any part of the event content, in any form, without prior written consent from MWA is strictly prohibited.
🔶 Special Note for Exhibition Visitors
Exhibition visitor passes are intended solely for visiting the exhibition booths during designated visiting hours. Please note:
- No Access to Conference Hall – Exhibition visitors are not permitted to enter or attend any conference sessions.
- No Entitlement to Meals or Refreshments – Exhibition visitor passes do not include refreshments, lunch, or networking receptions.
- Designated Visiting Times – Access to the exhibition area is only allowed during specific visitor hours as determined by the organiser.
- Badge Requirement – All exhibition visitors must wear their visitor badge at all times while in the exhibition area and return it to the registration counter once their booth visit is completed.
- Photography & Recording – The use of cameras, video recorders, or other recording devices within the exhibition is subject to the organiser’s approval.
By registering as an exhibition visitor, you agree to abide by the above conditions. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or request removal from the venue for any breach of these rules.
🔶 Special Notes for Invited Guests
- Opening Ceremony Guests (19 August 2025) – Guests invited specifically for the Opening Ceremony are welcome to attend the ceremony and join the tea-break session immediately after. However, lunch is not included.
- Accompanying Guests – Individuals attending solely to accompany a VIP, speaker, moderator, or acting as their media/press officer are not entitled to tea-break or lunch.
- Access Restriction – Invited guests are not permitted to attend any conference sessions unless they are registered as conference delegates.
- Badge Requirement – All invited guests must wear their guest badge at all times during their permitted access period and return it to the registration counter once their visit is complete.
