GENERAL INFORMATION
Q1. What is the GSC Popcorn Run?
Get ready for the GSC Popcorn Run, a 3KM and 5KM family fun run that’s part of the GSC Ultimate Family Adventure (GUFA) series! Designed for kids and adults alike, every step is a fun-filled run trail featuring four exciting themed zones:

• 🎬 Movie Zone – Snap photos with life-sized characters and catch previews of upcoming family blockbusters
• 🍔 Makan Zone – Refuel with tasty family-friendly bites and snacks
• 🎤 Main Zone – Keep the energy high with music, mascots and live entertainment
• 🛍️ Market Zone – Shop, play and interact with family and lifestyle brands gathered in one lively space

🎁 Each zone is lined with booths offering freebies or special discounts exclusively for Popcorn Run participants!

Q2. How do I register for the run?

Q3. What do I get when I register?
Every registered runner will receive:

• GSC Popcorn Run official T-shirt
• Race bib with unique number (used for identification and lucky draw entry)
• Finisher medal (doubles as a fridge magnet!)
• Drawstring bag with event goodies
• 1x GSC movie ticket for a selected family-friendly title

🎉 Don’t lose your bib! Your bib number is your entry for the Popcorn Run lucky draw.
👕 To enter any activity zone and enjoy booth perks, you must wear your official T-shirt and bib at all times during the event

Q4. How much are the tickets?

Note: Ticket prices exclude fees. *Additional charges at checkout include:

• Admin & Processing Fees – 3% + 5% (to support logistics and secure transactions)
• Insurance Fee – RM5.24 per participant (mandatory coverage for all runners)
  These help us create a safe and seamless event – thank you for your understanding!

Q5. Who can join?

• Kids aged 4–12 can register under the Kids category
• Kids under 4 may join for free (no entitlements, but lots of fun!)
• All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event

Q6. When and where is the run?
📍 Venue: IOI City Mall Putrajaya, Symphony Walk (East)
🗓️ Date: Sunday, 21 September 2025
🕖 Event Time: 7am – 12pm

🕖 Flag-Off Times:

• 5KM (All participants): 7:00 AM
• 3KM (All participants): 8:00 AM

Please arrive at least 45 minutes early for parking, warm-ups and pre-run activities

Q7. Where do I park? Are there facilities?

• Parking, toilets and changing rooms are available within IOI City Mall Putrajaya (East Wing)
• A venue map and facilities guide will be provided closer to the event date via email and social media updates

Q8. What if I lose my Kid?
Safety first! We encourage all parents to brief their children before the run on what to do if they get separated. The Information Counter near the Main Zone will be the official family reunion point.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Side tip: You can also attach a small tag to your child’s bib or clothing with your name and contact number, just in case.

If your child is lost, notify any crew member in a yellow GSC Popcorn Run tee right away. Our team is trained to assist and reunite families quickly and calmly.

Q9. Is this a timed race?
Nope – this is a non-competitive fun run with no timing chips. The only pressure is to have a great time!

Q10. Will there be event photos or videos?
Yes! Official photographers will capture candid moments throughout the day. Stay tuned to GSC’s Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for event highlights and feel free to tag us @gscinemas #GSCPopcornRun2025 in your own posts too!

Q11. Do I get a medal?
Yes! Every participant who completes the run will receive a special edition GSC Popcorn Run 2025 medal, which also works as a fridge magnet – a fun souvenir to remember your day

RACE PACK COLLECTION

Q12. When and where do I collect my race kit?
📍 Location: GSC IOI City Mall Putrajaya (East Wing), Level 3
📅 Dates: 13–14 September 2025
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Show your QR code (printed or digital) at the collection counter. Race day pick-up will also be available in case you can’t make it

Q13. Can someone else collect on my behalf?
Yes – they will need:

• Your QR code
• A copy/photo of your IC
• For corporate runners: a signed consent form from your company’s admin contact

Q14. Is there a delivery option for corporate runners?
Yes – specific delivery fee applies, depending on the number of runners. Our team will coordinate delivery details with your company’s representative. Prefer to self-collect? No problem – just email [email protected] to arrange a date and time. Cost below does not include 8% SST.

MOVIE TICKET (VOUCHER) REDEMPTION

Q15. What movie ticket (voucher) do I get with my GSC Popcorn Run registration?
Every runner will receive 1x GSC 2D movie ticket (voucher) - can be used to book either an adult or kid ticket which will be credited to your GSC Rewards member account under the “My Rewards” section.

Example: If a family of 4 registers with 2x Adult tickets and 2x Kid tickets, they will receive 4x movie ticket (vouchers) in total.

All the movie ticket (vouchers) are redeemable with Rewards Voucher via GSC App or GSC Mobile Web.

Q16. How do I know if my movie ticket (voucher) has been credited to my account?
Movie tickets (voucher) will be credited by 22 September 2025 to your GSC Rewards member account under the “My Rewards” section. You will also receive an email alert once it has been credited, sent to the same email address used to purchase your GSC Popcorn Run tickets.

1. Log in to the GSC Rewards App/Website
2. Under “Me”, tap “My Rewards”
3. Your 2D movie ticket will appear under the Active tab if it has been credited

If you do not see it, please email your GSC Rewards number, name, email address and phone number to [email protected] so our Customer Service Team can check for you.

Q17. If I have 4 movie ticket (vouchers), can I book 4 tickets at once and checkout using 4 different movie ticket (vouchers)?
No – each movie ticket (voucher) can only be redeemed in separate transactions.

Q18. How do I redeem my movie ticket (voucher)?

You can only redeem Online (Via GSC App or GSC website). Do note that redemption is not applicable to Kiosks at GSC cinemas.

STEP 1: Select the eligible titles from below and proceed to book your movie as usual

STEP 2: Select date, time, and seats

STEP 3: On the checkout page, select your payment mode & tick "Do you have Rewards Voucher"

STEP 4: Select your Rewards Voucher & Submit

STEP 5: Enjoy the movie.

Eligible titles (Sep 2025 – Jan 2026):

• Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie – from 25 September
• Wicked: For Good – from 20 November
• Zootopia 2 – from 27 November
• Papa Zola the Movie – from December
  (Titles and release dates may change)

Q19. Can I use the movie ticket (voucher) for premium formats like IMAX, ScreenX or other GSC premium experiences?
No – the movie ticket (voucher) is valid only for standard 2D screenings and cannot be upgraded to premium formats or other GSC signature experiences, even with a top-up.

Q20. How long do I have to redeem my movie ticket (voucher)?
From 22 September 2025 until 31 January 2026 for the listed eligible titles within their screening periods. Titles and release dates may change, subject to respective movie distributors’ release schedules.

Q21. What if I forgot to enter my GSC Rewards membership number when I bought my GS Popcorn Run tickets?
Email [email protected] with:

• Popcorn Run Ticket2U Ticket Number (located under the QR of your PDF Ticket)
• GSC Rewards membership number (10-digits)
• Full Name
• Email address
• Handphone number
  (These must match your existing GSC Rewards membership details)

Q22. What if I don’t have a GSC Rewards membership?
You will need to sign up for a free GSC Rewards membership before the movie tickets are credited. Register on the GSC Rewards app or website using the same contact number you used for your GSC Popcorn Run ticket purchase to ensure the tickets are correctly linked to your account.

TERMS & CONDITIONS (RUN TERMS):

• T-shirt sizes are final upon registration – no changes allowed
• Race kits not collected during the official dates can be collected on race day
• Early bird pricing applies only to the first 1,000 individual entries (excludes bundles)
• All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the run
• This is a non-competitive, untimed fun run – enjoy at your own pace
• Race bibs are not personalised but feature a unique number for identification and lucky draw eligibility
• Bib and official T-shirt must be worn at all times to enter the zones and qualify for giveaways, discounts and the lucky draw
• Booth perks include freebies or special discounts across all four activity zones
• A full venue guide with parking, toilets and changing rooms will be shared closer to event day

MOVIE TICKET (VOUCHER) TERMS: 

• Each participant will receive 1x GSC movie ticket (voucher) - i.e for the family of 4 bundles, a total of 4 movie ticket (vouchers) will be allocated.
• Movie ticket (vouchers) are valid for selected family-friendly titles from September 2025 to January 2026, including:
  • Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie (From 25 Sept onwards)
  • Wicked: For Good (From 20 Nov onwards)
  • Zootopia 2 (From 27 Nov onwards)
  • Papa Zola the Movie (From Dec onwards)
• Titles and release dates may be subject to change based on the respective movie distributors
• Valid for standard 2D screenings only at all GSC locations nationwide (except Aurum Theatre and Velvet Cinemas) 
• Tickets will be credited by 22 September 2025 to the participant’s GSC Rewards membership under “My Rewards”. Redemption period: 22 September 2025 – 31 January 2026
• Redemption requires an active GSC Rewards membership. Redemption available only via GSC Rewards app or website (not applicable at kiosks)
