PINKtastic 5km Fun Run 

 Objective: To promote a healthy and active lifestyle, demonstrating that women, including mothers, can maintain fitness and vitality. 

 Description: A vibrant 5-kilometer fun run open to all fitness levels. Participants will be encouraged to wear pink attire to symbolize support for women's health. The route will be scenic, traversing the beautiful Taman Tasik Sultan Abu Bakar, offering a refreshing and invigorating experience. 

 Key Features: 

1) PINKtastic T-shirt

2) Pre-run warm-up session. 

3) Water stations along the route. 

4) Finishers' medals and certificates.

PINKtastic PEKAN is a community-driven event open for ALL GENDER designed to celebrate and empower women, with a special focus on maternal health and breastfeeding advocacy. Held in conjunction with World Breastfeeding Week, this event aims to foster a supportive environment for mothers, highlight the importance of women's well-being, and promote healthy lifestyles within the community. Through a blend of physical activity, educational discourse, interactive exhibitions, and practical health services, PINKtastic PEKAN seeks to create a memorable and impactful experience for all participants.

Terms and Conditions

1. General

PINKtastic RUN 2025 @Pekan is organized in accordance to the local rules and regulations.

  1. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photograph, motion picture, recording, or any other record of this Fun Run and its participants for any legitimate purpose, including promotion, placements and commercial advertising.


1.2 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event without any prior notification, in which case, the fees are non-refundable. By signing up for this event, you acknowledged your consent to receive future events notification and products information from The Organiser via email.

2. Registration

2.1. Participants must meet the qualifying age to compete in their respective category:

2.1.1. 8KM Fun Run (Individual) - 12 years old and above

2.2. Participant must reach the age stipulated above on the 31st of August 2025 to qualify to join the run

2.3. Participants below the age of 18 must seek parental or guardian consent and fill in the relevant indemnity form when registering online. Failing which, The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to the participant.

2.4. Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

2.5. Registration will not be accepted after the closing date.

2.6. Fun Run entry is non-transferable and non-refundable.

2.7. Please note that only changes to personal particulars will be accepted. The Organiser reserves the right to close registration before the official closing date should participation reaches its capacity before the date mentioned.

2.8. The Organiser will not be responsible for any dispute arising from incomplete details given by participants.

2.9. Participants agreed to abide by all stipulated Rules and Regulations by The Organiser

KELAB SUKAN, REKREASI DAN KEBAJIKAN PEJABAT KESIHATAN DAERAH PEKAN (ReKS) upon submission of the registration form and payment made for the purpose of this event.

2.10.The Organiser reserves the right to limit and refuse entries. 

2.11.Confirmation slip will be sent to the participant’s email address after the registration is successfully complete. Each participant can only take part in a single competitive category.

2.12.The registration will only be completed when full payment is made.

2.13.The actual distance of the respective competitive categories will be subjected to further confirmation with the sanctioning party before the Fun Run event.

3. Fun Run

3.1. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by The Organiser to ensure participants' safety, participants take part at their own risks and The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage, whether personal or otherwise, and howsoever arising.

3.2. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any unattended bags at the event premises for security reasons and will not be responsible for any losses or damages to the belongings. Only registered runners for the respective category are allowed access to the Start Point.

3.3. Runners must wear their assigned number bib on the front of their running attire near his/her chest area at all times during the Fun Run.

3.4. Road closure will be lifted after hours from the first flag off and the roads will be reopened to vehicular traffic. Participants will then continue the Fun Run on the footpath at their own risk. Support vehicles or pacers (other than officially appointed by The Organiser) are not allowed.

4. Fun Run Pack Collection

4.1. All registered participants are to collect their Fun Run packs which include the Fun Run Bib, Fun Run T-Shirt and Fun Run pack. Date and venue will be announced soon.

4.2. Fun Run pack will NOT be issued to the participants after the designated collection period

4.3. For collection, please bring along the confirmation slip or NRIC/Passport for verification purposes.

4.4. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participants without the required documents from collecting their Fun Run packs.

4.5. If participants are unable to collect their Fun Run Pack in person, they may authorize a representative to collect on behalf. Please download the authorization of collection form from the website.

5. Safety & Medical Advisory

5.1. Should any participant feel unwell in the course of the Fun Run, he/she should stop and seek immediate medical attention at designated medical posts.

5.2. Participants should prepare themselves adequately and gradually increase the duration and intensity of their training over several weeks prior to the event. Participants should ensure that they are well-rested and well-hydrated prior to the run. Participants are advised not to attend the event should they have fever, cough, breathing difficulties or severe muscle ache.

5.3. Participants are advised to consult their medical practitioner to certify them fit to participate in the event. Participants who have doubts about their suitability to participate in this event (e.g. those on medication or those who have had recent health complaints) are advised to consult their medical practitioner prior to participation in the event.

PINKtastic RUN 2025 @Pekan dianjurkan mengikut peraturan dan undang-undang tempatan.

1.1 Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk menggunakan sebarang gambar, filem bergerak, rakaman, atau sebarang rekod lain Larian ini dan pesertanya untuk tujuan yang sah, termasuk promosi, penempatan, dan pengiklanan komersial.

1.2 Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk membatalkan atau menangguhkan acara tanpa sebarang notis awal, di mana yuran tidak akan dikembalikan. Dengan mendaftar untuk acara ini, anda bersetuju untuk menerima notifikasi acara akan datang dan maklumat produk daripada Pihak Penganjur melalui e-mel.

2. Pendaftaran

2.1. Peserta mesti memenuhi had umur kelayakan untuk bersaing dalam kategori masing-masing: 2.1.1. Larian 8KM (Individu) - 12 tahun dan ke atas

2.2. Peserta mesti mencapai umur yang dinyatakan di atas pada 31 Ogos 2025 untuk layak menyertai larian.

2.3. Peserta di bawah umur 18 tahun mesti mendapatkan kebenaran ibu bapa atau penjaga dan mengisi borang indenminti yang berkaitan semasa mendaftar secara dalam talian. Jika gagal berbuat demikian, Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk menolak penyertaan peserta.

2.4. Peserta di bawah umur 13 tahun mesti ditemani oleh orang dewasa yang membayar.

2.5. Pendaftaran tidak akan diterima selepas tarikh tutup.

2.6. Penyertaan Larian tidak boleh dipindah milik dan tidak boleh dikembalikan.

2.7. Sila ambil perhatian bahawa hanya perubahan pada butiran peribadi akan diterima. Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk menutup pendaftaran sebelum tarikh tutup rasmi sekiranya penyertaan mencapai kapasiti maksimum sebelum tarikh yang disebutkan.

2.8. Pihak Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab atas sebarang pertikaian yang timbul daripada butiran tidak lengkap yang diberikan oleh peserta.

2.9. Peserta bersetuju untuk mematuhi semua Peraturan dan Garis Panduan yang ditetapkan oleh Pihak Penganjur KELAB SUKAN, REKREASI DAN KEBAJIKAN PEJABAT KESIHATAN DAERAH PEKAN (ReKS) setelah menyerahkan borang pendaftaran dan pembayaran yang dibuat untuk tujuan acara ini.

2.10. Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk mengehadkan dan menolak penyertaan.

2.11. Slip pengesahan akan dihantar ke alamat e-mel peserta setelah pendaftaran berjaya diselesaikan. Setiap peserta hanya boleh mengambil bahagian dalam satu kategori kompetitif.

2.12. Pendaftaran hanya akan lengkap apabila pembayaran penuh telah dibuat.

2.13. Jarak sebenar kategori kompetitif masing-masing akan tertakluk kepada pengesahan lanjut dengan pihak yang meluluskan sebelum acara Larian.

3. Larian

3.1. Walaupun setiap langkah berjaga-jaga yang munasabah akan diambil oleh Pihak Penganjur untuk memastikan keselamatan peserta, peserta mengambil bahagian atas risiko mereka sendiri dan Pihak Penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab untuk sebarang kehilangan dan/atau kerosakan, sama ada peribadi atau sebaliknya, dan bagaimana pun ia timbul.

3.2. Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk mengeluarkan sebarang beg yang tidak dijaga di premis acara atas sebab keselamatan dan tidak akan bertanggungjawab untuk sebarang kehilangan atau kerosakan harta benda. Hanya pelari yang berdaftar untuk kategori masing-masing dibenarkan masuk ke Titik Permulaan.

3.3. Pelari mesti memakai bib nombor yang ditetapkan di bahagian hadapan pakaian larian mereka berhampiran kawasan dada pada setiap masa semasa Larian.

3.4. Penutupan jalan akan ditarik balik selepas 2 jam dari waktu pelepasan pertama dan jalan raya akan dibuka semula kepada lalu lintas kenderaan. Peserta kemudian akan meneruskan Larian di laluan pejalan kaki atas risiko mereka sendiri. Kenderaan sokongan atau penentu rentak (selain yang dilantik secara rasmi oleh Pihak Penganjur) tidak dibenarkan.

4. Pengambilan Pek Larian

4.1. Semua peserta yang berdaftar perlu mengambil pek Larian mereka yang termasuk Bib Larian, Baju-T Larian, dan pek Larian. Tarikh dan lokasi akan diumumkan tidak lama lagi.

4.2. Pek Larian TIDAK akan dikeluarkan kepada peserta selepas tempoh pengambilan yang ditetapkan.

4.3. Untuk pengambilan, sila bawa slip pengesahan atau NRIC/Pasport untuk tujuan pengesahan.

4.4. Pihak Penganjur berhak untuk menolak peserta tanpa dokumen yang diperlukan daripada mengambil pek Larian mereka.

4.5. Sekiranya peserta tidak dapat mengambil Pek Larian mereka secara peribadi, mereka boleh memberi kebenaran kepada wakil untuk mengambil bagi pihak mereka. Sila muat turun borang kebenaran pengambilan dari laman web.

5. Nasihat Keselamatan & Perubatan

5.1. Sekiranya mana-mana peserta berasa tidak sihat semasa Larian, dia harus berhenti dan mendapatkan perhatian perubatan segera di pos perubatan yang ditetapkan.

5.2. Peserta harus mempersiapkan diri dengan secukupnya dan secara beransur-ansur meningkatkan tempoh dan intensiti latihan mereka beberapa minggu sebelum acara. Peserta harus memastikan mereka cukup rehat dan terhidrat dengan baik sebelum larian. Peserta dinasihatkan untuk tidak menghadiri acara sekiranya mereka mengalami demam, batuk, kesukaran bernafas atau sakit otot yang teruk.

5.3. Peserta dinasihatkan untuk berunding dengan pengamal perubatan mereka untuk mengesahkan mereka sihat untuk menyertai acara tersebut. Peserta yang ragu-ragu tentang kesesuaian mereka untuk menyertai acara ini (contohnya, mereka yang mengambil ubat atau mereka yang mempunyai aduan kesihatan baru-baru ini) dinasihatkan untuk berunding dengan pengamal perubatan mereka sebelum menyertai acara tersebut.
