Participants are advised to read the following Important Notice, Terms & Conditions and Official Rules carefully before the event.
Participants are advised to solicit medical advice from doctor if they are in doubt of their health condition prior to taking part in the event.
By registering for A Kind Fun Run 2025 (the “Event”), each participant — and where applicable, the parent, guardian, or legal representative of a participant under the age of 18 — is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. Registration and participation in the Event constitute an undertaking to comply with all the provisions stated herein.
All entry fees are non-refundable and the Organizer retains the right to refuse entry to anyone declaring false information on their entry form, not making the required payment, or otherwise failing to meet the stated entry requirements.
Terms & Conditions
1. The event is organised by A Kind Man Sdn Bhd (1307033-M). (the “Organiser”).
2. Details of the Event are as follow:

3. Event Categories & Eligibility:
3.1 Run For All | 4.5KM
- Open to participants aged 12 and above. Participants aged below 18 are deemed to have obtained parental/guardian consent upon registration. Age qualification will be taken as of 31st December 2025.
3.2 Pets Run | 2KM
3.2.1 Eligibility & Participation
- This category is strictly for participants with pets. Each registration must include at least one person and one pet.
- Participants may run with multiple pets, provided all pets remain under full control at all times.
- Both pet(s) and owner must start and finish together for the participation to be deemed complete.
- Participants aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above. Age qualification will be taken as of 31st December 2025.
3.2.2 Pet Requirements
- Only common, domesticated pets are allowed — such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds.
- For safety reasons, exotic or potentially dangerous animals such as snakes, reptiles, spiders, or wild animals are strictly prohibited.
- All pets must remain under full control of their owners at all times.
- Dogs & Cats: Valid rabies vaccination is mandatory. Other core vaccinations are strongly encouraged.
- Dogs: Must be leashed at all times (leash no longer than 2 meters). Pet strollers are allowed. Muzzles are encouraged where appropriate.
- Cats: Recommended to be transported in secure carriers or strollers for safety and comfort.
- If you are unsure whether your pet is suitable for participation, please contact the organiser before registering.
3.2.3 Handler Requirements
- Handlers must be aged 12 or above. Age qualification will be taken as of 31st December 2025.
- Participants aged 12–17 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (aged 18 or above) at all times. Age qualification will be taken as of 31st December 2025.
3.2.4 Restricted Dog Breeds
- For the safety of all participants, the following dog breeds are strictly prohibited from participating in the event:
Akita, American Bulldog, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pit Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff, German Shepherd / Alsatian, Rottweiler, Perro de Presa Canario (Canary Dog), and Dobermann.
3.2.5 Clean-Up Duty
- Pet owners are fully responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
- All pet waste must be picked up immediately by the owner and disposed of responsibly into the designated bins along the route.
- Participants are required to bring their own waste bags or cleaning tools.
- Failure to comply may result in a warning or disqualification by event officials.
3.2.6 Pet Owner Responsibility & Liability
- Pet owners are fully responsible for the behavior, safety, and well-being of their pets throughout the event.
- The organiser shall not be liable for any injury, death, or property damage caused by or to a pet.
- In the event a pet causes injury, damage, or loss to another person, animal, or property, the pet owner shall bear full responsibility and indemnify the organiser against any claims or liabilities.
- Participants are advised to ensure their pets are well-trained, properly restrained, and physically fit for the activity.
3.3 Family Run | 2KM
- Minimum requirement: 1 child (aged 3-18) + 1 adult (aged above 18+). Age qualification will be taken as of 31st December 2025.
- Team entries only: Individual registrations (child-only or adult-only) are NOT permitted.
- Shared participation: All team members will be assigned race bibs bearing the same bib number and must start and finish together.
- Strollers permitted: Children may ride in strollers (must be sturdy and safely secured).
- The accompanying adult is fully responsible for the child’s safety and conduct during the Event.
3.4 Chill Run | 2KM
- Open to participants aged 55 and above. Age qualification will be taken as of 31st December 2025.
- Designed as a relaxed, fun-paced walk/run promoting senior well-being.
3.5 Organiser's Rights
- The Organiser reserves the right to deny or revoke any participant’s registration at any time, including on event day, without refund, if it is deemed that the participant or their pet (if applicable) may pose a safety risk, violate the event’s code of conduct, or fail to meet eligibility requirements. The Organiser’s decision in such matters shall be final.
4. Event Registration
4.1 Registration via: https://www.ticket2u.com.my
4.2 By signing up for and providing any personal information to participate in this event, the participant is deemed to have granted express consent to the Organiser and relevant Event partners/sponsors to collect, retain, use, and disclose such information for marketing, statistical, planning, and insurance purposes.
4.3 The participant agrees to provide accurate personal details, which may be shared with the Event’s official insurance partner for the purchase of Group Personal Accident Insurance (as required by the Sports Commissioner).
4.4 The Organiser reserves the right to contact participants via any communication channel. Notices sent to the email address registered will be considered received by the participant.
4.5 The Organiser reserves the right to suspend or terminate any registration containing false, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
4.6 The Organiser is not responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate registration data submitted by participants.
4.7 Once the registration has been confirmed, no refund will be given for withdrawal, non-participation, or failure to attend the Event for any reason.
4.8 All T-shirt sizes are subject to a +/- 2-inch tolerance. No exchange requests will be entertained once selected.
4.9 Merchandise design, color, and material (e.g., T-shirt, bib, medal, goodie bag) are subject to change without prior notice.
4.10 In the event of force majeure (e.g., haze, storm, rain, act of God, terrorism, or any condition beyond the control of the Organiser), the Event may be cancelled without refund. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any resulting losses.
5. PARTICIPATION
5.1 BIB numbers must be worn and visible at all times during the Event. Entry to the course will be denied without the official bib.
5.2 While the Organiser will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety, participants take part entirely at their own risk. The Organiser is not liable for any injury, death, or loss that occurs during training, participation, or post-event activities.
5.3 Participants are strongly advised to undergo medical checks and obtain professional advice before registration and participation.
5.4 It is the participant’s sole responsibility to inform event officials or safety marshals of any physical conditions or injuries prior to or during the Event.
5.5 If a participant feels unwell or suffers injury during the Event, they must immediately stop and notify medical personnel or marshals.
5.6 Participants must comply with instructions to retire from the course if required by medical staff or marshals.
5.7 The Organiser is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the Event.
5.8 The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on the Event Registration Platform, and it is the participant’s responsibility to check for updates.
5.9 The Organiser reserves the right to change the Event date, venue, or cancel the Event without prior notice. In such cases, no refund will be given, and the Organiser shall not be liable for any inconvenience or losses caused.
5.10 The Organiser is not responsible for technical or system errors during registration or the Event, including but not limited to email failure, internet issues, or website malfunction.
5.11 By registering, participants agree to the Event’s Personal Data Protection Notice and consent to the collection and use of their data by the Organiser and its affiliated companies for operational and marketing purposes.
5.12 All participants under the age of 18 are deemed to have obtained consent from their parent or legal guardian upon registration. For the 4.5KM category, individuals aged 12 and above may participate independently. For the 2KM Pets Run, participants aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above at all times to ensure appropriate pet supervision. The parent or guardian shall bear full responsibility for the safety and conduct of the minor participant.
6. Media Release
6.1 By participating in the Event, all participants grant the Organiser and its partners the irrevocable right to take, use, reproduce, publish, or distribute photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of the Event, which may include the participant’s image or voice, for any legitimate purpose, including marketing and promotional use, without compensation or further approval.
6.2 The Organizer shall be entitled to use pictures and documentation of the Participants taken during the event for purposes related with the event or any future events.
7. Code of Conduct
7.1 Participants must not engage in any misconduct, including but not limited to harassment, verbal abuse, unsportsmanlike behavior, or bringing prohibited items (e.g., weapons, fireworks, intoxicants) into the event venue.
7.2 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant who violates the event code of conduct, falsifies identity, disrupts the Event, or poses a threat to the safety and enjoyment of others.
8. Race Kit Collection
8.1 Participants must collect their race kits during the designated collection period, as announced by the Organiser.
8.2 Race kits not collected during the designated period will be deemed forfeited. No collection will be allowed on event day unless otherwise stated by the Organiser.
8.3 In exceptional cases, participants may request delivery of their race kits after the collection period. Such requests will be considered at the sole discretion of the Organiser and, if approved, postage and handling charges will be fully borne by the participant. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any delay, damage, or loss arising from courier delivery.
8.4 Contents of the race kit are subject to availability. The Organiser will not entertain replacement requests for lost, damaged, or incomplete kits.
9.Prize Eligibility & Verification
9.1 The Organiser reserves the right to revoke any prize if the winner’s name is inconsistent with the registration records.
9.2 The Organiser reserves the right to request official identification for prize verification. In the event of a tie or dispute, the Organiser's decision is final.
Participant Waiver
- By participating I/we accept all risks necessarily resulting from my participation, which would result in loss of life or permanent injury. Accordingly, I will not hold liable all people associated with the conduct of events and will release them against all matters arising from my participation in event. For clarification, the people released include event organisers, promoters, sponsors, managers, officers, employees, agents, contractors and volunteers including event medical and paramedical personnel and every personnel invited and asked to be involved in the event by the organisers. This release and indemnity continues forever and binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives, and assignees.
- I/we understand that I park my vehicle at my own risk and assume organisers to not hold any responsibility for loss of or damage to my vehicle.
- I/we acknowledge that the event involves real risk of serious injuries, or risk of death, from various causes including overexertion, equipment failure, dehydration, accidents with other competitors, spectators, and road users, the course and weather conditions, just to name a few.
- I/we understand that I should not participate in the event unless I have prepared appropriately and my physical condition has been verified by a medical practitioner.
- I/we understand that the information that I have provided herein will be included in the organizer's database. I also understand that information of a biological nature including my name, date of birth, home state, results, career highlights and interests may be released to the media in response to general requests.
- I/we agree to abide by all the Rules of organisers which relate, in part, to safe and fair sporting practices.
- I/we grant organisers unconditional rights to use at their discretion photographic pictures and personal information in any form of media, art, advertising, trade, visual documentary, promotional material, merchandise or film coverage of any kind without compensation to me. I also waive the right to inspect and/or approve the finished product or the copy that may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied.
- I/we have permission from my family and related sport associations to compete in this event.
