About Music Specialists
Founded by Principal Peter Lo in 2011, Music Specialists has two locations—Jalan Raja Uda,
Butterworth, and Jelutong, Penang—offering music lessons to students of all ages.
The academy’s vision is to nurture a lifelong love of music. While examinations help guide
progress, we believe music learning should go beyond certifications. To support this, we hold
regular student recitals to build confidence and musicianship. Students who demonstrate dedication
are encouraged to perform in public concerts.
We are also committed to promoting Western instrumental music and fostering a music-loving
community, as music is a powerful form of human expression.
