Building on the first edition, negaraku II continues exploring what it means to be Malaysian today. It features compelling works from Bingley Sim and Ima Norbinsha’s private collections, plus new commissions by local artists. Curated by Ivan Gabriel, the exhibition delves into identity, belonging, and nationhood—highlighting voices from migrants and marginalised communities.
Blending visual art, storytelling, and communal rituals, negaraku II fosters cross-cultural, intergenerational engagement. Live demos of dishes like Roti Jala and Nasi Ulam enrich the sensory experience, turning the show into a space for dialogue. Guided tours in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and Sign Language reflect its inclusive spirit. More than an exhibition, negaraku II is a gathering for memory, reflection, and reimagining Malaysia as home for all.
