By recognising educators who transform classrooms and communities, MTP shines a spotlight on their stories to inspire a movement that reimagines what is possible in Malaysian education.

The Malaysia Teacher Prize 2025 Summit is a biennial gathering of teachers, policymakers, funders, and education stakeholders. It is a space for learning, dialogue, and collaboration in order to celebrate the contributions of teachers while amplifying their voices in shaping the future of education.

This year’s theme, “A Step Together in Shaping the Future,” calls for collective action to elevate the teaching profession and strengthen education for the next generation. We warmly welcome you to join us in this shared journey.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This message is important and must be read by all customers who have purchased a Ticket(s) to attend the MALAYSIA TEACHER PRIZE 2025 SUMMIT. Purchasing or pre-registering to purchase a Ticket(s) to the MALAYSIA TEACHER PRIZE 2025 SUMMIT implies that the customer has read, understood and agreed to accept the terms and conditions below before attending the MALAYSIA TEACHER PRIZE 2025 SUMMIT. By purchasing a Ticket(s) to the MALAYSIA TEACHER PRIZE 2025 SUMMIT, the customer agrees they have accepted and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

“Ticket(s)” shall be defined as any valid Ticket(s) that permits a customer to have the right of admission into the MALAYSIA TEACHER PRIZE 2025 SUMMIT (“the Event“) or any valid lanyard for which the customer has exchanged the Ticket(s) upon entry. Ticket(s) to the Event are sold by and on behalf of PEMIMPIN (“the Event Organiser“), who reserves the right to change all or any arrangements concerning the Event without notice, nor with any obligation whatsoever to refund.

In the event a customer acts as an agent to any other person or persons in obtaining the Ticket(s), the customer (agent) recognises that they are acting as that person's or persons' agent (“the Principal”) in obtaining the Ticket(s), and due to this agency relationship, the customer (agent) agrees to these terms and conditions for and on behalf of the Principal to whom the customer (agent) delivers any of the purchased Ticket(s) and the customer shall notify the Principal of these terms and conditions when the Ticket(s) is or are delivered. The Ticket holder shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

"The Event" shall be defined as the event called THE MALAYSIA TEACHER PRIZE 2025 SUMMIT which is held at the venue in respect of which the customer has bought the Ticket(s).

“The Venue” shall be defined as the venue where the Event is held.

“The Event Organiser” shall be defined as PEMIMPIN who is responsible for producing, organising and operating the Event.

USE OF TICKET(S)

1.     All Ticket(s) sold are final. Ticket(s) are not allowed to be cancelled, refunded for cash nor will exchanges be made under any circumstances, except if and only if the Event is cancelled or postponed by the Event Organiser and in such case, refunds (if any) are subject to the Event Organiser's terms & conditions. In the event of an official cancellation, Ticket(s) refund, which is the nett Ticket(s) fee, will be granted. All ticket purchase shall be carried out via the event’s Ticket2u platform only.

2.     All Tickets are 2-day passes to the Event. Only Ticket Holders are eligible to enter the venue. All Ticket Holders are required to redeem their Ticket(s) for the Event by obtaining the event lanyard in order to gain entry to the Event. An electronic ticket, printed or digital, does not entitle entry into the Venue.

3.     The lanyard must be worn at the Venue all times for both days during the Event. Ticket Holders are responsible for their own lanyards. The Organiser is not responsible for any loss or damage of the lanyard.

4.     The Event Organiser may refuse entry to Ticket Holders of Ticket(s) that the Event Organiser have reasons to believe are not genuine, not purchased or acquired from unauthorised agents, or damaged.

5.     The Event Organiser reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute any speakers and/or vary the advertised programs, Event times and audience capacity without any prior notice and/or compensation to the Ticket Holder.

6.     The Event Organiser may postpone, cancel, interrupt and/or stop the Event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond their reasonable control that are constituted as acts of God.

7.     The Ticket Holder shall observe and comply with all Event rules, prohibitions and directions given by authorised personnel of the Event Organiser including, but not limited to, submitting to any search; and voluntarily assume all risk and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent, to the event, including but not limited to deaths, personal injuries, losses, damage and/or liability.

8.     The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry and/or evict from the Venue any person or persons with unruly conduct and/or in breach of any Venue and/or ticketing terms & conditions.

9.     If the Event is rescheduled for any reason whatsoever, the Ticket(s) shall remain valid or if applicable, new Ticket(s) will be reissued for the rescheduled Event, unless otherwise advised by the Event Organiser.

RESALE OF TICKET(S)

1.     Authorised Resale: Tickets purchased through PEMIMPIN may only be resold by the original purchaser.

2.     Price Regulation: Resale prices should not exceed the face value of the ticket(s). Price gouging or exorbitant resale pricing is prohibited.

3.     No Guarantees: PEMIMPIN does not guarantee the authenticity and validity of resold ticket(s).

4.     Transfer Restrictions: Resold tickets may be subject to restrictions on name changes or transfers. Any changes to ticket ownership should comply with these restrictions.

5.     Risk of Fraud: Resellers assume all risks related to fraud, misrepresentation, and unauthorised reproduction of tickets. PEMIMPIN is not liable for any losses arising from such activities.

6.     Refund and Exchange: Resold tickets are not eligible for refunds or exchanges through PEMIMPIN.

7.     Cancellation or Postponement: If the event is cancelled or postponed, the resale terms and conditions will apply to the resold tickets. Resellers are responsible for communicating any changes to buyers.

8.     Compliance with Laws: Resellers must comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding ticket resale, including consumer protection regulations.

9.     Listing Accuracy: Resellers must accurately describe the tickets being offered for resale, including event date, event time and any restrictions.

10. Unauthorised Sales: Tickets obtained through unauthorised sources or in violation of these terms may be voided, and entry to the event may be denied.

11. Communication: Resellers are responsible for communicating any changes to the event, including date changes, venue changes, or cancellations, to the buyers.

12. Indemnification: Resellers agree to indemnify and hold PEMIMPIN GSL harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the resale of tickets.

13. Modification: PEMIMPIN reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

By proceeding with the resale of tickets, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in ticket cancellation and legal actions.
