Liability & Responsibility
- 5KM Run (Individual Category): Open to all ages. Runners under the aged of 18 must obtain parental/guardian consent and/or be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian, who will be fully responsible for the child’s participation. Parent/guardian who wish to accompany must register for the event.
- The Organiser shall take all reasonable measures to protect personal data and require the same from any third-party processors.
- Personal data will be securely deleted when no longer needed.
- The Organiser may release personal data if required by law or regulation.
- The Organiser may engage third parties at their discretion.
- Participants must be medically fit. The Organiser is not liable for accidents due to undisclosed health conditions.
- Insurance Coverage
- Accidental Death/Disability: RM5,000
- Medical Expenses: RM100
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary. In case of ambiguity, the Organiser's interpretation shall prevail.
- Submission of the online registration form confirms the Participant's agreement to all rules. A confirmation slip (“Confirmation Slip”) will be sent via email. Participants must report issues within 5 working days.
- The Confirmation Slip is the only valid proof of registration.
- Participants must provide accurate and current information. The Organiser reserves the right to suspend or cancel registrations with inaccurate or incomplete details.
- No refunds will be provided for non-participation.
- The Organiser is not responsible for registration disputes due to incomplete information.
- Entry transfers or category changes are not allowed once registration is confirmed.
- The Organiser may change the event date, venue, or cancel the Event without prior notice. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
- No refunds will be made in the event of cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., weather, pandemic, terrorism).
- The Organiser reserves the right to limit or refuse entry.
- The Organiser may cancel or add categories with or without prior notice.
- The Organiser is not liable for loss or inconvenience during the event.
- Participants take part at their own risk. The Organiser is not responsible for any injury, death, or property loss. Medical consultation before participation is strongly advised.
- Participants are encouraged to monitor their health prior to the Event.
- The Organiser may use any media (photos, videos, etc.) from the Event for promotional purposes without compensation.
- Start and finish times are based on the category selected.
Important Notes for Participants
1. Race Bib
- Wear your race bib prominently on the front of your running tee, as high as possible.
- Participants without visible race bibs will be penalized or disqualified immediately.
2. Instructions
- Follow all instructions given by checkpoint officials.
- Always run in the designated direction; failure to do so will result in disqualification.
3. Behavior
- Unsporting behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to penalties or disqualification.
4. Withdrawal from the Race
- If you need to withdraw, report to the nearest checkpoint for safe removal from the course and transport back to the venue.
