Despite technological and scientific advancements, we are living in an increasing stressful world. Christian or not, Malaysian youths are no exception, they have to contend with the stress of study, competition to get into higher studies, peer pressure, isolation, climate problem and world wide economic problems. In a National Survey in 2022 (NHMS Adolescent Health Survey 2022), it is found that 26.9% of adolescents are depressed, and 13.1% experienced suicidal ideation, 10% have planned to and 9.5% have attempted suicide.

More than ever, we need to include mental health training in our church life. This can be a complex and difficult task to achieve. But we have to start somewhere. Dr Kam Wong is a Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience in helping young people. He is sought after speaker both in Australia and overseas. He has pioneered a number of self-help toolkits for young people. More recently, he has written a book “Mental Health in search of Spirituality” which is very well received. He will share with the young people some keys to Spiritual and Emotional Wholeness. These keys are essential for better mental health. Some of these keys can be used in conjunction with medication, secular counselling and psychotherapy to enhance speedier recovery. This workshop is suitable for all youth irrespective of your mental health status and level of spirituality.

What will I receive after payment?

· E-tickets will be sent to the BUYER'S EMAIL.

· Every successful purchase will receive an SMS (only for Malaysian mobile numbers) from Ticket2U and emails from Razer Pay and Ticket2U. The emails contain payment confirmation and an e-ticket and embedded QR code.

· A valid QR code ticket must be produced to enter the event venue. Removing any part of and/or, altering and/or defacing the QR code may invalidate the ticket.

· One (1) ticket admits one (1) person only.

· For bulk ticket purchases (more than 1 ticket), the corresponding SMS from Ticket2U and emails from Razer Pay and Ticket2U will be sent ONLY to the Primary Purchaser (SMS is only applicable for Malaysian mobile numbers).
