Penang Rowing Association (PRA), in partnership with Concept2 Malaysia, proudly presents the 4th Penang Rowing International Indoor Championships (PRICH), taking place on 13th September 2025 (Saturday) at 1st Avenue Penang, Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia. 

The 2025 PRICH is supported by the Penang State Sports Council (Majlis Sukan Negeri Pulau Pinang), the Penang State Government Youth and Sports Committee, and the Malaysia Rowing Association (PERDAMA).

Guided by our vision of promoting “Rowing for Everyone”, this championship welcomes participants of all backgrounds—without qualification or affiliation requirements. We invite individuals, clubs, schools, universities, rowing associations, corporate teams, government departments, and uniform bodies to be part of this exciting competition.

There are 188 categories with various distances from 2000m, 500m, 150m, 2 minutes to different age group and relay team event. 






**Corporate Category: Open and limited to non-sports/fitness NGO, business corporation, companies, government agencies, government offices, and uniform bodies (Police, BOMBA, Armed Forces, Army, Navy, Air Force, etc.) only.

  • •All participants who successfully complete their race shall be awarded an e-certificate, which will be sent via email after the event.
  • •Participants classified as Did Not Start (DNS) shall not be eligible to receive a certificate.

  • •Each participant shall be entitled to one (1) event T-shirt only, irrespective of the number of categories entered.
  • •For clarity:

    • An athlete entering one (1) category shall receive one (1) T-shirt.
    • An athlete entering two (2) categories shall receive one (1) T-shirt.
    • An athlete entering three (3) categories shall likewise receive one (1) T-shirt.

1. Indoor Rowing Machines

  • •All races shall be conducted on Concept2 RowERG ergometers (Standard Leg model).



2. Qualification


1. Eligibility to Enter

  • •No prior qualifications be required.
  • •Participation is open to all individuals.


2. Membership Requirement

  • •Participants shall not be required to be a member of any club, gym, or association in order to compete. Register as Individual. 
  • •Participants are, however, encouraged to register under their team, club, or association, as medals won shall contribute toward the Overall Team Champion Award.


3. Foreign / International Participants


  1. 1.Eligibility: International participants are welcome.
  2. 2.Visa Requirement: Athletes residing overseas may participate provided they are able to enter Malaysia with a valid visa.
  3. 3.Responsibility: All visa applications and travel arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.


4. Food and Beverages


  1. 1.Outside Food and Drinks: In accordance with 1st Avenue Penang policy, outside food and beverages shall not be permitted within the premises.
  2. 2.Provision of Meals: The participation fee covers entry to the race only and does not include meals or refreshments.
  3. 3.Available Options: A wide variety of restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores are available within 1st Avenue Penang, offering breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner, and supper options for participants and supporters.


5. Registration


  1. 1.Number of Events per Athlete
  • •There shall be no limitation on the number of categories an athlete may enter.
  • •Athletes are advised to assess their own fitness and physical condition carefully before registering for multiple events, as overexertion may result in an inability to complete races or risk of injury.
  • •As this is a one-day competition, the schedule will be tightly packed. Athletes who fail to report on time for their race shall forfeit their participation, and the race will proceed without delay. No refunds shall be provided for failure to start.


2. Bulk Entries

  • •Bulk entries shall be permitted.
  • •Through the official ticketing platform, one buyer may purchase multiple entries, provided that all required participant details are submitted for each entry.


3. Refund Policy

  • •Entry fees are non-refundable, as stipulated in the Terms and Conditions.


4. Multiple Entries per Organization

  • •Clubs, associations, schools, and other organizations may submit an unlimited number of entries in each category.
  • •For Double and Team Relay events, each team registered under a club must have a unique team name for every team.
  • •Example: Super Sports Club may register teams as SSC A, SSC B, SSC C, etc.


6. Race Regulations


1. Accompanying Persons

  • •In the Single event, each athlete shall be permitted to bring ONE (1) accompanying person onto the race floor. 
  • •The accompanying person shall be sitting all the time during the race and not disturbing other athletes.
  • •Athletes whose accompanying person failed to obey the instruction by event crew will be penalized with 30 seconds penalty time added to the final time. 
  • •Coaches shall not be permitted to accompany athletes in the Team Relay categories.
  • •The accompanying person may only provide verbal instructions. Any form of physical assistance, including touching the athlete or the rowing machine, shall result in immediate disqualification.
  • •Unless the machine is found to be slippering and may post a risk to machine failure or safety, the event crew shall be called to touch and hold the machine. 


2. Entry Transferability

  • •Entries are non-transferable, and no substitutions are permitted.
  • •Athlete identification (IC or Passport) shall be verified during registration.



3. Submission of 2000m and 500m Times

  • •Submission of 2000m and 500m personal times is optional.
  • •Times are requested solely for the purpose of grouping athletes of similar pace into heats, thereby enhancing the spectator experience.
  • •Submitted times shall not serve as qualification standards.
  • •Athletes who do not submit times will be placed into heats at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
  • •The race draw issued by the Organizing Committee shall be final.
  • •Each participant shall compete once only, and winners shall be determined by the fastest overall time recorded across all heats within the same age group.


4. Warm-Up Area

  • •A rowing machine warm-up area shall be provided adjacent to the race floor.


5. Damper / Drag Factor Settings

  • •Athletes may select any drag factor setting of their preference.
  • •The damper must be set prior to the start of the race.
  • •Adjusting or changing the damper setting after the race has commenced shall be prohibited, in accordance with the Charley Butt Rule.
  • •Athletes found changing the damper setting shall result in 30 seconds penalty time added to the final result.


7. Categories


1. Open Category

  • •The Open category shall have no age or weight restrictions, within the same gender division.
  • •Example: Open 2000m Men – athletes who do not qualify for specific age groups or lightweight events, or who wish to challenge themselves beyond their age group, may compete in this category.


2. Open Weight and Lightweight Categories

  • •The Open Weight category shall have no weight restriction
  • •The Lightweight category shall require athletes to meet the following weight limits:

    • oMen: under 75.00 kg
    • oWomen: under 61.50 kg


3. Weigh-In Regulations


    • •Lightweight athletes must complete weigh-in no more than 2 hours and no less than 1 hour before the scheduled start of their category.
    • •Athletes shall weigh in wearing their racing uniform, excluding shoes.
    • •Athletes exceeding the maximum weight limit, shall render the athlete ineligible for the Lightweight category. In such cases, the athlete may still compete, but the result shall be counted under the Openweight category.


8. Age Group Determination



9. Results


    • •The full official results shall be published within one (1) week following the completion of the championships. We will do our best. 


10. Team Relay 


1. Team of 2 x 1000m Relay Event


    • Format: The event shall be conducted using one (1) ergometer. The first athlete shall row 1000m and then vacate the machine. The second athlete shall immediately continue on the same ergometer to complete the remaining 1000m, thereby finishing the 2000m race distance.
    • Changeover: Shall be completed within +/- 10 meter of the interval, in this case between 1010-990meter.
    • Before the changeover: The second athlete shall be sitting on the chair behind. No person is allowed to accompanied in relay races. 



    1. 2.4 x 500m Team Relay

    • Weight Limit: There shall be no weight restrictions for any 4 x 500m Team Relay events.
    • •Age group and gender divisions shall apply.


3. Age Group Classifications


    • Open: No age or weight restrictions.
    • 30+: All athletes must be 30 years of age or older.
    • 40+: All athletes must be 40 years of age or older.
    • Example: If a team consists of two (2) members aged 35 and two (2) members aged 45, the team may compete in the 30+ category but not in the 40+ category, as two members are below 40 years old.



    1. 4.Race Format

    • •Each team shall compete using one (1) ergometer.
    • •Each team member must row exactly 500m.
    • •Upon reaching 500m, a changeover must occur within +/- 10 meter of the interval.
    • •Failure to comply shall result in a 30-second penalty added to the team’s final time.


5. Foot Strap Assistance


    • •Only competing team members shall be permitted to hold the foot strap while another member is rowing.
    • •In the event that a rowing athlete falls off the seat, no team member may assist by pulling the handle.
    • •Failure to comply shall result in a 30-second penalty added to the team’s final score.


11. Para Rowing Classification


    • •The Para Rowing category shall be open to all athletes with disabilities, including (but not limited to) visual impairment and physical disabilities.
    • •There shall be no age or weight restrictions.
    • •For this edition, all athletes shall compete under a single combined Para category, including all PR1, PR2, and PR3 classifications as recognized by World Rowing (FISA).

  1. Each ticket purchased is entitled for ONE participant. No duplicate entry for each ticket.
  2. Tickets purchased cannot be transferred and is strictly not refundable after successful purchase.
  3. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or other products and services.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event details without prior notice.
  5. By purchasing a ticket from us, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
  6. Kindly present the printed ticket or online e-ticket QR code together with your original IC / passport for verification purposes upon registration check-in on the event day.

Waiver
I / We hereby agree not to hold the organizer and co-organizers, their representatives and sponsors against all cost, expense or liability that may arise in consequence of my participation in the event, I hereby waive all claims for any and all injuries, death and invalidity to me or the person under my care which may be caused by any act, or failure to act by the organizer, members and employees arising directly or indirectly during the course of event or arising as a result of it. In consideration of the organizer accepting this entry, I hereby assume liability for any loss, damage or liability from the above event. I confirm that I have read and accepted the conditions of entry to event and the rules and regulations for this event.


The Acknowledgment, Waiver and Release From Liability

In consideration of the acceptance of my application to participate in 2025 Penang Rowing International Indoor Championships (PRICH) including without limitation, competing in the race(s) and participating in any and all pre and post race activities and social events (collectively, the "Event"), and/or my being permitted to officiate, observe, work for or in any manner participate in the Event or its staging, and intending to be legally bound hereby, I hereby freely agree, represent and acknowledge, for myself, my personal representatives, assigns and heirs that:  


(1) I HEREBY RELEASE AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE, AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, Penang Rowing Association (PRA) and venue sponsor 1st Avenue Mall ; hereinafter referred to as "The Organiser"; all states, cities, counties or localities in which the Event or segments of the Event are held; all Event sponsors, advertisers, officials, volunteers and independent contractors; owners and lessees of property used to conduct or used in conjunction with the Event; and the officers, directors, shareholders, partners, employees, members and agents of any of the above (the "Releasees"); FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY that I, my personal representatives, heirs and assigns may allege against the Releasees, including attorney's fees, as a direct or indirect result of injury to me or my property or resulting in my death, whether or not caused by any act or omission of Releasees, including but not limited to the negligence of Releasees or otherwise while I am in any way competing in, officiating, observing, working for, or in any manner participating in the Event or its staging; 


(2) I acknowledge that participating in the Event can be a dangerous activity that involves risks of serious bodily injury, death or property damage and I HEREBY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH AND PROPERTY DAMAGE due to the negligence of Releasees or otherwise arising out of or in any way relating to any of the events referred to in item 1 hereof; 


(3) I will comply with all rules, regulations and instructions of the Event and its officials; 


(4) I / my team members declare that I / my team members physically fit and capable of participating in the Event, and there is no medical reason why I should not participate in the Event;  I declared that I am not a Covid-19 positive during the event day. If I am Covid-19 positive, I shall excuse myself from participating in this event. 


(5) I CONSENT TO RECEIVE MEDICAL TREATMENT in the event that I become ill, I am injured or I am involved in an accident during the Event or as otherwise deemed necessary or advisable by Event officials; 


(6) I CONSENT TO THE FREE AND UNRESTRICTED USE OF MY NAME, VOICE AND PICTURE in any and all Event promotional materials, videotapes, telecasts, and promotions for any purposes deemed necessary by The Organiser, including but not limited to commercial use, and I waive all right to any future compensation to which I may otherwise be entitled as a result of the use of my name or likeness;  


(7) I understand that The Organiser withholds the right to offer any refund to participants for their registration to The Event for whatever reason including but not limited to non-starters, withdrawal, cancellation of The Event; and 


(8) I accept that once my registration has been paid for and confirmed that it cannot be transferred to any other individual as they will not be covered under the insurance of The Event. Any requests to transfer registrations must be made in writing to the Race Director, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional costs related to the transfer of details.


(9) I / my team members understand that by participating in the Event, there are risks of injury, death and/or loss. I am / my team members are entering the Event at my own risk and responsibility. I / my team members hereby discharge the Organizer and any other individual or organization connected directly or indirectly with the Event from any responsibility in the event of injury, death or loss of property incurred during, as consequence of or while travelling to and from the Event.


(10) I / my team members agree that the Organizer are permitted to collect, store and use my / my team members’ personal data (as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy)Ordinance) as provided by me / my team members in the Declaration for the purpose of or in connection with the Event (including organization, promotion, and publicity of the Event etc.).


(11) I / my team members understand and agree to provide my / my team members’ ID Card/Passport to verify my/ my team members’ personal details to the Organizer upon request.


By signing this Declaration, I / my team members agree to and confirm to accept all of the terms, conditions and points made and subsequently raised in the important notes, declarations and conditions.


I HAVE CAREFULLY READ, UNDERSTAND AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNED THIS AGREEMENT.

I HEREBY AFFIRM THAT I AM EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, AND I UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS.


For persons under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign the above Waiver and Release and complete the following section.

I am the parent or natural guardian of this participant and have executed the foregoing Waiver and Release Agreement for and on behalf of my Child.  I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT.  


In consideration of allowing my Child to participate in the Event, I agree that THE TERMS OF THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT SHALL BIND ME, MY CHILD, our personal representatives, heirs and assigns. I HEREBY RELEASE AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE, AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, THE RELEASEES FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY that I or my Child may allege against the Releasees, including attorney fees, as a direct or indirect result of injury to me or my child, or my or my Child's property, or resulting in my or my Child's death, because of my Child's participation in the Event or its staging, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or otherwise.

  • •Unless the machine is found to be slippering and may post a risk to machine failure or safety, the event crew shall be called to touch and hold the machine. 


2. Entry Transferability

  • •Entries are non-transferable, and no substitutions are permitted.
  • •Athlete identification (IC or Passport) shall be verified during registration.



3. Submission of 2000m and 500m Times

  • •Submission of 2000m and 500m personal times is optional.
  • •Times are requested solely for the purpose of grouping athletes of similar pace into heats, thereby enhancing the spectator experience.
  • •Submitted times shall not serve as qualification standards.
  • •Athletes who do not submit times will be placed into heats at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
  • •The race draw issued by the Organizing Committee shall be final.
  • •Each participant shall compete once only, and winners shall be determined by the fastest overall time recorded across all heats within the same age group.


4. Warm-Up Area

  • •A rowing machine warm-up area shall be provided adjacent to the race floor.


5. Damper / Drag Factor Settings

  • •Athletes may select any drag factor setting of their preference.
  • •The damper must be set prior to the start of the race.
  • •Adjusting or changing the damper setting after the race has commenced shall be prohibited, in accordance with the Charley Butt Rule.
  • •Athletes found changing the damper setting shall result in 30 seconds penalty time added to the final result.


7. Categories


1. Open Category

  • •The Open category shall have no age or weight restrictions, within the same gender division.
  • •Example: Open 2000m Men – athletes who do not qualify for specific age groups or lightweight events, or who wish to challenge themselves beyond their age group, may compete in this category.


2. Open Weight and Lightweight Categories

  • •The Open Weight category shall have no weight restriction
  • •The Lightweight category shall require athletes to meet the following weight limits:

    • oMen: under 75.00 kg
    • oWomen: under 61.50 kg


3. Weigh-In Regulations


    • •Lightweight athletes must complete weigh-in no more than 2 hours and no less than 1 hour before the scheduled start of their category.
    • •Athletes shall weigh in wearing their racing uniform, excluding shoes.
    • •Athletes exceeding the maximum weight limit, shall render the athlete ineligible for the Lightweight category. In such cases, the athlete may still compete, but the result shall be counted under the Openweight category.

    • •The full official results shall be published within one (1) week following the completion of the championships. We will do our best. 


10. Team Relay 


1. Team of 2 x 1000m Relay Event


    • Format: The event shall be conducted using one (1) ergometer. The first athlete shall row 1000m and then vacate the machine. The second athlete shall immediately continue on the same ergometer to complete the remaining 1000m, thereby finishing the 2000m race distance.
    • Changeover: Shall be completed within +/- 10 meter of the interval, in this case between 1010-990meter.
    • Before the changeover: The second athlete shall be sitting on the chair behind. No person is allowed to accompanied in relay races. 



    1. 2.4 x 500m Team Relay

    • Weight Limit: There shall be no weight restrictions for any 4 x 500m Team Relay events.
    • •Age group and gender divisions shall apply.


3. Age Group Classifications


    • Open: No age or weight restrictions.
    • 30+: All athletes must be 30 years of age or older.
    • 40+: All athletes must be 40 years of age or older.
    • Example: If a team consists of two (2) members aged 35 and two (2) members aged 45, the team may compete in the 30+ category but not in the 40+ category, as two members are below 40 years old.



    1. 4.Race Format

    • •Each team shall compete using one (1) ergometer.
    • •Each team member must row exactly 500m.
    • •Upon reaching 500m, a changeover must occur within +/- 10 meter of the interval.
    • •Failure to comply shall result in a 30-second penalty added to the team’s final time.


5. Foot Strap Assistance


    • •Only competing team members shall be permitted to hold the foot strap while another member is rowing.
    • •In the event that a rowing athlete falls off the seat, no team member may assist by pulling the handle.
    • •Failure to comply shall result in a 30-second penalty added to the team’s final score.


11. Para Rowing Classification


    • •The Para Rowing category shall be open to all athletes with disabilities, including (but not limited to) visual impairment and physical disabilities.
    • •There shall be no age or weight restrictions.
    • •For this edition, all athletes shall compete under a single combined Para category, including all PR1, PR2, and PR3 classifications as recognized by World Rowing (FISA).

  1. Each ticket purchased is entitled for ONE participant. No duplicate entry for each ticket.
  2. Tickets purchased cannot be transferred and is strictly not refundable after successful purchase.

  4. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event details without prior notice.

  6. Kindly present the printed ticket or online e-ticket QR code together with your original IC / passport for verification purposes upon registration check-in on the event day.

Waiver
I / We hereby agree not to hold the organizer and co-organizers, their representatives and sponsors against all cost, expense or liability that may arise in consequence of my participation in the event, I hereby waive all claims for any and all injuries, death and invalidity to me or the person under my care which may be caused by any act, or failure to act by the organizer, members and employees arising directly or indirectly during the course of event or arising as a result of it. In consideration of the organizer accepting this entry, I hereby assume liability for any loss, damage or liability from the above event. I confirm that I have read and accepted the conditions of entry to event and the rules and regulations for this event.


The Acknowledgment, Waiver and Release From Liability

In consideration of the acceptance of my application to participate in 2025 Penang Rowing International Indoor Championships (PRICH) including without limitation, competing in the race(s) and participating in any and all pre and post race activities and social events (collectively, the "Event"), and/or my being permitted to officiate, observe, work for or in any manner participate in the Event or its staging, and intending to be legally bound hereby, I hereby freely agree, represent and acknowledge, for myself, my personal representatives, assigns and heirs that:  


(1) I HEREBY RELEASE AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE, AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, Penang Rowing Association (PRA) and venue sponsor 1st Avenue Mall ; hereinafter referred to as "The Organiser"; all states, cities, counties or localities in which the Event or segments of the Event are held; all Event sponsors, advertisers, officials, volunteers and independent contractors; owners and lessees of property used to conduct or used in conjunction with the Event; and the officers, directors, shareholders, partners, employees, members and agents of any of the above (the "Releasees"); FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY that I, my personal representatives, heirs and assigns may allege against the Releasees, including attorney's fees, as a direct or indirect result of injury to me or my property or resulting in my death, whether or not caused by any act or omission of Releasees, including but not limited to the negligence of Releasees or otherwise while I am in any way competing in, officiating, observing, working for, or in any manner participating in the Event or its staging; 


(2) I acknowledge that participating in the Event can be a dangerous activity that involves risks of serious bodily injury, death or property damage and I HEREBY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH AND PROPERTY DAMAGE due to the negligence of Releasees or otherwise arising out of or in any way relating to any of the events referred to in item 1 hereof; 


(3) I will comply with all rules, regulations and instructions of the Event and its officials; 


(4) I / my team members declare that I / my team members physically fit and capable of participating in the Event, and there is no medical reason why I should not participate in the Event;  I declared that I am not a Covid-19 positive during the event day. If I am Covid-19 positive, I shall excuse myself from participating in this event. 


(5) I CONSENT TO RECEIVE MEDICAL TREATMENT in the event that I become ill, I am injured or I am involved in an accident during the Event or as otherwise deemed necessary or advisable by Event officials; 


(6) I CONSENT TO THE FREE AND UNRESTRICTED USE OF MY NAME, VOICE AND PICTURE in any and all Event promotional materials, videotapes, telecasts, and promotions for any purposes deemed necessary by The Organiser, including but not limited to commercial use, and I waive all right to any future compensation to which I may otherwise be entitled as a result of the use of my name or likeness;  


(7) I understand that The Organiser withholds the right to offer any refund to participants for their registration to The Event for whatever reason including but not limited to non-starters, withdrawal, cancellation of The Event; and 


(8) I accept that once my registration has been paid for and confirmed that it cannot be transferred to any other individual as they will not be covered under the insurance of The Event. Any requests to transfer registrations must be made in writing to the Race Director, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional costs related to the transfer of details.


(9) I / my team members understand that by participating in the Event, there are risks of injury, death and/or loss. I am / my team members are entering the Event at my own risk and responsibility. I / my team members hereby discharge the Organizer and any other individual or organization connected directly or indirectly with the Event from any responsibility in the event of injury, death or loss of property incurred during, as consequence of or while travelling to and from the Event.


(10) I / my team members agree that the Organizer are permitted to collect, store and use my / my team members’ personal data (as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy)Ordinance) as provided by me / my team members in the Declaration for the purpose of or in connection with the Event (including organization, promotion, and publicity of the Event etc.).


(11) I / my team members understand and agree to provide my / my team members’ ID Card/Passport to verify my/ my team members’ personal details to the Organizer upon request.


By signing this Declaration, I / my team members agree to and confirm to accept all of the terms, conditions and points made and subsequently raised in the important notes, declarations and conditions.


I HAVE CAREFULLY READ, UNDERSTAND AND VOLUNTARILY SIGNED THIS AGREEMENT.

I HEREBY AFFIRM THAT I AM EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, AND I UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS.


For persons under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign the above Waiver and Release and complete the following section.

I am the parent or natural guardian of this participant and have executed the foregoing Waiver and Release Agreement for and on behalf of my Child.  I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT.  


In consideration of allowing my Child to participate in the Event, I agree that THE TERMS OF THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT SHALL BIND ME, MY CHILD, our personal representatives, heirs and assigns. I HEREBY RELEASE AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE, AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, THE RELEASEES FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY that I or my Child may allege against the Releasees, including attorney fees, as a direct or indirect result of injury to me or my child, or my or my Child's property, or resulting in my or my Child's death, because of my Child's participation in the Event or its staging, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or otherwise.

 
The Penang Rowing Association (PRA) is the governing body for the sport of rowing in Penang state of Malaysia and was established in 2020. We are a registered sports body with the Sports Commissioner of Malaysia Ministry of Youth and Sport (Pesuruhjaya Sukan), as well as affiliate members of the Malaysia Rowing Association (PERDAMA) and the Penang State Sports Council (Majlis Sukan Negeri Pulau Pinang /MSNPP).
