Penang Anti-Corruption Run 2015 will be organized at Padang Kota Lama on 6th December 2015.

* The first 1,000 participants will receive a free t-shirt. There is no participation fees. Forms can be obtained from SPRM office or at Komtar Level 3 counter (from 6-13 Nov from 10 am to 12 noon). Please contact 04-2271982 during office for more information.

Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)
Malaysia's (then Malaya) efforts to combat corruption were carried out by two entities, respectively focusing on investigations and prevention. Investigations on corruption cases were tasked to the Special Crimes Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Malaysian Police while an Anti-Corruption Agency was set-up in the Prime Minister’s Department to manage the aspect on prevention. Matters related to prosecution were under the purview of the Attorney General's Chambers.
