Speaker’s Background
Sheikh Dr. Sajid Umar is an international speaker based in the United Kingdom. He is a qualified Mufti, Judge, and a renowned author, researcher, and educator, focused on engaging global communities and corporations that seek to serve humanity. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Knowtion Advisory, consulting in finance, management, leadership, and team performance development.

He completed a Master's degree in Comparative Fiqh and Judiciary (Qadha) with honors at the Higher Institute for Judiciary Studies (Ma’had al-‘āli li’l-Qa’dhā). He also earned a PhD from the Higher Institute of Judiciary at Al-Imam University. His doctoral research focused on Financial Risk Management, specifically on standardized hedging contracts among Islamic Financial Institutions (Treasury Operations). Sheikh Dr. Sajid is happily married and the proud father of three children. He is an avid sportsman, playing golf, football, and cricket, and eagerly participates in sports whenever the opportunity arises.
