🎤Show Me Your Talent – Rules & Regulations
To ensure a fair, safe, and enjoyable competition, all participants are required to follow these rules and conditions.
1. Eligibility
- Open to individuals aged 7 to 60 years old, including students.
*students under the age of 18, will need to have parents / guardian’s consent while fill up registration form
- This is a non-Muslim event.
- Both individual and group entries are allowed.
- Each group has a limit to a maximum of 20 members in a group
2. Registration
- Platform: All participants must register via Ticket2U.
- Period: Registration is open from 1 November 2025 to 23 November 2025. After 23 November 2025, no further entries will be permitted.
- Fees: Individual RM100, Group RM200 per person (Maximum 20 members)
- Registration fees are non-refundable, except if the competition is cancelled by the organizer.
3. Contest Details & Performance Guidelines
- Any talents are welcome (e.g. Singing, Dancing, Live Band, Magic Show, Imitation, Special Ability etc.).
- All performances must be original and appropriate for public viewing.
- Strictly prohibited: discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, political, religious, or otherwise sensitive content.
- Show Me Your Talent Audition Stage:
i) Participants must select one (1) audition slot from the available dates:
25/11/2025, 29/11/2025, or 30/11/2025.
ii) Participants are required to attend the audition on the selected date and time, or communicate with the organizer to attend another slot of auditions.
iii) Failure to attend the audition without prior notice will be considered as forfeiting the right to participate in the competition.
iv) Performance duration:
- Audition: 1 - 2 minutes
- Semi Finals: 3 - 4 minutes
- Grand Finals: 4 - 5 minutes
- All shortlisted participants must be present on 6 December 2025 (Saturday), 5:30pm and 7 December 2025 (Sunday), 1:30pm for the Show Me Your Talent Semi Finals. Any participant who fails to attend without prior notice will be considered as forfeiting their right to participate in the competition.
- Background music/track must be submitted in advance in the required format.
- No pets or animals are allowed on stage.
- Inappropriate or overly revealing attire is not permitted; dress code should be respectful and family-friendly.
- Dangerous props (fire, fireworks, flammables, sharp weapons, explosives, etc.) are not allowed.
- Selected candidates must be willing to commit to future rehearsals / performances as arranged by the organizer.
4. Stage, Safety & Liability
- Participants must follow all instructions from the organizing committee and stage crew.
- The organizer is not responsible for theft, damage, or injury of any kind to persons, instruments, props, clothing, etc., during, before, or after the performance.
- Any damage to property or equipment will be the participant’s responsibility.
5. Judging & Awards
- Judging criteria include Technical Skill / Ability, Creativity & Originality, Stage Presence & Audience Engagement. Overall Performance / Execution, Image / Costume / Visual Impact.
- The judges’ decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- People's Choice Award or other special prizes may also be given.
- Prizes are non-transferable and subject to availability. The organizer reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value without notice.
- The organizer is not responsible for inaccurate prize details provided by third parties.
6. General Terms
- If a contestant withdraws from the competition, any fees paid will not be refunded.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
- By registering, participants confirm that all provided information is true, and also agree that photos and videos of their performances may be used for event promotion .
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
