LIF25 FUN RUN – TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. General Information
1.1 The LIF25 Fun Run (“Event”) is organized by GTEAM in conjunction with the Langkawi International Festival 2025 (LIF25).
1.2 By registering and participating in the Event, participants agree to be bound by all Terms and Conditions stated herein.
1.3 The Organizer reserves the right to modify or amend any rules, regulations, or event details without prior notice.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Event is open to all.
2.2 Participants below 18 years old must obtain parental or guardian consent.
2.3 Each participant must complete the official registration process and make full payment to be considered a confirmed entrant.
3. Registration
3.1 Registration can be made online through the official LIF25 website.
3.2 All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once payment has been made.
3.3 The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any incomplete, lost, or invalid registrations.
3.4 Substitution of participants is not allowed without prior written consent from the Organizer.
4. Event Kit Collection
4.1 Participants must collect their Fun Run kits (bib number, T-shirt & draw string bag.) at the designated counter on 20th Disember 2025, Pekan Rabu, Kuah, Langkawi from 10.00 am until 9.30 pm.
4.2 Participants must present proof of registration and identification during collection.
4.3 Fun Run kits not collected within the stipulated period will be deemed forfeited, and no refunds shall be made.
5. Event Rules
5.1 All participants must wear the official LIF25 Fun Run t-shirt & bib number visibly at all times during the run.
5.2 Tampering with bib numbers or running without a valid bib is strictly prohibited.
5.3 Participants must follow the designated route and instructions given by marshals or officials.
5.4 Any form of cheating, unfair conduct, or violation of rules may result in disqualification.
6. Safety & Medical Assistance
6.1 Participants take part at their own risk. The Organizer shall not be liable for any injury, accident, or loss suffered during the Event.
6.2 Medical support will be available along the route and at the finish line. Participants are encouraged to seek assistance if feeling unwell.
6.3 Participants with known medical conditions are strongly advised to consult a doctor before joining the Event.
7. Weather & Event Cancellation
7.1 The Organizer reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or change the Event date, venue, or route due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to bad weather, safety concerns, or local authorities directives.
7.2 No refunds will be provided in the event of cancellation due to force majeure or circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control.
8. Personal Data Protection
8.1 Participants consent to the Organizer collecting, using, and sharing their personal data for event administration, safety, and promotional purposes in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
8.2 Photos, videos, and recordings taken during the Event may be used for publicity, media, and promotional purposes without prior consent or compensation.
9. Waiver of Liability
By participating, each participant hereby:
Acknowledges that they are medically fit and physically capable of completing the run.
Waives and releases GTEAM, sponsors, and partners from any liability for personal injury, property loss, or damage arising from participation in the Event.
10. Organizer’s Rights
10.1 The Organizer’s decision on all matters relating to the Event shall be final and binding.
10.2 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or disqualify any participant found in violation of these Terms & Conditions.
