Star Voyager KRUise Showcase – FAQ


1. What’s included in the fare?
The package includes:
• Cabin fare
• Port charges (RM420)
• One (1) 90-minute Star KRUise Showcase Ticket


2. Is the port charge mandatory?
Yes. Port charges are based on headcount and already included in the fare.
5 Days 4 Nights (5DN) – RM420 per person


3. Do I need to bring my passport?
Yes. As this cruise sails from Port Klang to Phuket and Singapore, a valid passport is required even if you don’t disembark.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure.


4. Can non-Malaysians join the cruise?
Yes! The cruise is open to all nationalities and passport holders.


5. What currency is used on board?
All transactions onboard use Singapore Dollars (SGD).
Accepted payment methods:
• Cash (SGD)
• Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX
Money exchange services are available onboard.


6. Where do we board the cruise?
Embarkation is at Port Klang Cruise Terminal (PKCT).


7. Is there parking available at PKCT?
Yes. Parking is available at approximately RM20 per day.
The area is gated with 24-hour security, but parking is at your own risk.

8. What are the general boarding procedures?
1. Check in your luggage (for bags larger than 55cm x 25cm x 40cm)
2. Collect your boarding card
3. Pass through security check
4. Cruise staff will collect your passport
5. Proceed to board the ship


9. What if I test positive for COVID-19 before departure?
No refunds will be issued. However, you may postpone your cruise to a later date.


10. Is Wi-Fi available onboard?
Yes. Wi-Fi packages are available for purchase starting from SGD12 per person, per night.


11. What is “gratuity”?
Gratuity is a compulsory service tip for the cruise staff, usually charged per night per guest.


12. What is the Cruise Card used for?
Your Cruise Card serves as:
• Room key
• Onboard charge card for all purchases and restaurant entries
You’ll need to settle your onboard charges at the Reception Counter (Deck 5) before disembarkation to retrieve your passport.


13. Can pregnant women join the cruise?
Guests who are more than 24 weeks pregnant are not allowed to sail. The cruise reserves the right to deny boarding without a refund.


14. Can infants board the cruise?
Infants below 6 months old are not allowed onboard.
Infants 6 to 24 months old may cruise with parental supervision.

15. Is food included in the package?
Yes. Meals are included at three complimentary restaurants (Chinese, Western, and International Buffet).
Other specialty dining outlets (Japanese, Hotpot, Western Grill, Bars, etc.) are chargeable.


16. Is there a Halal restaurant onboard?
Yes. The Lido Restaurant is HALAL-certified and included in your package.


17. Which entertainment facilities are free of charge?
Complimentary facilities include:
• Waterslide Park
• Swimming Pools & Jacuzzi
• Rope Course & Zipline
• Rock Climbing
• Table Tennis
• Zodiac Theatre Shows
(Other entertainment options like Karaoke are chargeable.)


18. How can I check the onboard program itinerary?
Each cabin is provided with a daily itinerary, which can also be viewed on your in-room TV.


19. Do I need to wear a swimsuit for water activities?
Yes. Proper swimwear is required.
Muslimah swimsuits are allowed. Guests without appropriate swimwear will not be permitted to use the water facilities.


20. Can I disembark in Phuket?
Yes. Guests will enjoy approximately 8 hours of free and easy time in Phuket.
If you prefer not to disembark, you may stay onboard and continue enjoying the ship’s facilities and restaurants.


21. Can we meet KRU onboard?
Only Guests with a VVIP Pass (limited to 100 pax only) will have the opportunity to meet KRU members.

22. How many KRU Showcase performances are there?
The main showcase will be held on 28 January 2026.
A second show may be added if there are over 500 participants.
Please inform your agent if you’re interested in attending the additional showcase.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Star KRUise Showcase Package

1. Cabin Allocation

Each cabin accommodates a maximum of four (4) guests based on twin, triple, or quad sharing arrangements. Cabin assignment is subject to availability at the time of booking.



2. Cruise Schedule

Guests are required to arrive at Port Klang Cruise Terminal at least two (2) hours before the scheduled departure time for check-in and embarkation procedures.
The cruise will depart on schedule, and no refund or compensation will be provided for late arrivals or missed departures.
Suggested Check-in Time : 3.00pm (26 Jan 2026)



3. Identification and Travel Documents

All guests must present the following upon check-in:
•A valid passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months from the date of departure.
•A valid cruise ticket issued by SUKA Cruise or its authorized partners.

Failure to produce valid documents may result in denial of boarding without refund.



4. Children and Infants
•Infants below six (6) months old on the date of departure are not permitted to cruise.
•Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian) staying in the same cabin.



5. Pregnant Guests

Pregnant guests who are less than 24 weeks into their pregnancy at the time of departure are permitted to travel.
Those who are 24 weeks or more into pregnancy will not be allowed onboard for safety reasons and no refund will be given



6. Health and Safety

Guests with pre-existing medical conditions or mobility limitations are strongly advised to consult their physician before purchasing the package or embarking on the cruise.
The cruise operator reserves the right to refuse boarding to any guest deemed medically unfit to travel.



7. Food and Beverages

For hygiene and safety reasons, outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited onboard.
All meals and beverages will be provided or available for purchase onboard the cruise. Only dried food such as instant noodles, bread and biscuits are allowed.



8. Photography and Recording

Certain areas of the cruise may restrict photography or video recording due to privacy or security reasons.
Guests must comply with onboard signage and crew instructions at all times.



9.Cancellation Policy



All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to SUKA Cruise.



10.Amendment of Guest Details

A service fee of RM200 will be charged per amendment (name change or passenger substitution).
Amendments are subject to cruise line approval and may not be permitted within 14 days of departure.
Change of passenger name - amendment fee will be charged based on per name change, and at least 1 original name remains unchanged within each cabin. Otherwise, subject to cancellation charges for all name changes


11.Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas, and it is strictly prohibited in cabins, balconies, public indoor areas, and in many cases vaping (e-cigarettes) is treated the same as smoking.
