Penang International Triathlon & Duathlon 2016 (PGiTD 2016) will be organized at Teluk Bahang Dam, Teluk Bahang, Penang on 17 April 2016 (Sunday).

Swimming Leg

Swim Distance - 1.5 KM

Swim will start in 3 waves:

1st wave - Men Open
2nd wave - Men Veteran
3rd wave - Women Open and Veteran

Bike Leg

Bike Distance - 40 KM

Route: Jln Teluk Bahang –– Jln Sg Rusa –– Jln Bharu –– Jln Sg Nipah (U-turn point) –– Jln Bharu –– Jln Sg Rusa –– Jln Teluk Bahang

There will be 1 water station after U-turn point

Run Leg - Duathlon 1st Leg

Route Distance: 7 KM

Run Leg - Triathlon Run and Duathlon 2nd Leg

Route Distance: 10.0 KM

Back in May 2009, a small group of us gathered at G Hotel for our first official ride to Teluk Bahang. Before flagging off, one of the cyclists suggested that we should be called G Club, after G Hotel, our first sponsor. Later G Hotel suggested that we should adopt the same 'g' as in their logo.

Back in May 2009, a small group of us gathered at G Hotel for our first official ride to Teluk Bahang. Before flagging off, one of the cyclists suggested that we should be called G Club, after G Hotel, our first sponsor. Later G Hotel suggested that we should adopt the same 'g' as in their logo.
