Wu Bai -- (伍佰) is one of the biggest rock stars in Mandarin music industry which is marketed in China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. In additional, he also has fans in Japan, the United States, Australia, Canada as well as Ireland.

He formed the band Wu Bai & China Blue with Dean “Dino” Zavolta on drums, Yu Ta-hao (余大豪 Yú Dàháo, aka “Big Cat”) on keyboards, Chu Chien-hui (朱劍輝 Zhū Jiànhuī) on bass guitar and Wu himself is leading guitar and vocals. As Wu Bai has labeled as "the king of live music," he is considered to be "one of the biggest pop music stars in East and Southeast Asia".

He even released a number of works sung in Taiwanese Minnan. Throughout the years, he held numerous concerts in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, which were completely sold out and has performed in North America as well.

In his music career life, his albums have won countless awards and have hit the Mandarin music album sales charts. He writes almost all of his songs for his own album and even writes for other popular artists includes Andy Lau, Emil Chau, Karen Mok, Tracy Su and Vivian Hsu.

Furthermore, His guitar-driven rock music differs from many mandopop and Cantopop stars. Due to his Taiwanese Mandarin accent and rough looks, he delivers an image of an archetypal Taiwanese taike (台客) man in his music and film roles.
