1. General
1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticket holders, visitors, participants, and attendees of Malaysia Boardgame Show 2026 (“the Event”).
1.2 By purchasing a ticket and/or entering the Event venue, attendees agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1.3 The Event is organised by Malaysia Boardgame Show (MBS) (“the Organiser”).
2. Eligibility & Admission
2.1 Children aged 12 years and below must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
2.2 Admission to ticketed areas is strictly subject to possession of a valid ticket or pass.
2.3 Where age-based eligibility applies, age shall be determined by year of birth, not month or date.
2.4 The Organiser reserves the right to request NRIC / MyKad / Passport for verification at any time.
3. Ticketing, Entry & Verification
3.1 E-Ticket (QR Code) must be presented at the registration or ticket counter for admission.
3.2 Admission may be denied, or a price difference charged, if the ticket type purchased does not match the attendee’s eligibility or access level.
3.3 Tickets are valid for one (1) entry only, unless otherwise stated.
3.4 Tickets are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable upon confirmation of purchase.
4. Cancellation, Refund & No-Show Policy
4.1 No cancellation, refund, date change, or ticket transfer shall be accepted once purchase is confirmed.
4.2 No refunds shall be issued for no-shows, partial attendance, or early departure.
4.3 No refund will be given due to inclement weather, force majeure, or circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control.
4.4 The Organiser reserves the right to impose charges or restrict future participation in cases of repeated misuse or no-shows.
5. Event Access & Zones
5.1 Free Zone (Ground Floor) access is open to the public and does not require a ticket.
5.2 Ticketed Zone (1st Floor) access is restricted to valid ticket holders only and subject to capacity control.
5.3 Entry into specific activities may require separate registration or time-slot allocation.
5.4 Event merchandise, event shirts, goodie bags, prizes, and rewards are subject to availability and while stocks last.
5.5 The Organiser reserves the right to substitute items of equal or similar value if necessary.
6. Competitions, Tournaments & Activities
6.1 Participation in competitions, tournaments, or organised activities may be subject to additional rules, eligibility requirements, or registration.
6.2 Competition formats, rules, scoring systems, schedules, and prize structures shall be determined by the Organiser and/or appointed Game Masters.
6.3 The Organiser’s decisions on all competition-related matters are final and binding.
6.4 Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
6.5 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant for unsportsmanlike conduct, cheating, or violation of rules.
7. Used-Game Sales, Auctions & Trading
7.1 Used-game sales, auctions, and trading activities are conducted on an “as-is, where-is” basis.
7.2 The Organiser does not guarantee the condition, completeness, authenticity, or functionality of any used games sold or traded.
7.3 All transactions are conducted at the buyer’s and seller’s own risk.
7.4 No refunds, exchanges, or returns shall be permitted once a transaction is completed.
7.5 The Organiser shall not be held liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from used-game sales or auctions.
8. Conduct, Safety & Prohibited Items
8.1 Attendees must behave in a respectful, lawful, and orderly manner at all times.
8.2 The following items are strictly prohibited within the venue:
Dangerous or illegal items
Firecrackers, fireworks, lasers
Bottles, sharp objects, or hazardous materials
8.3 Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas, if available.
8.4 Outside food and beverages may be restricted subject to venue regulations.
9. Liability & Personal Belongings
9.1 Attendance at the Event is at the attendee’s own risk.
9.2 The Organiser shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury sustained during the Event, except where required by law.
9.3 Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the supervision and safety of children under their care.
10. Photography, Videography & Media
10.1 Photography, videography, and audio recording may take place throughout the Event.
10.2 By entering the Event, attendees grant consent for their image, voice, or likeness to be used for promotional, marketing, and documentation purposes without compensation.
11. Pricing, Communication & Notifications
11.1 All prices quoted are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
11.2 Prices, programmes, activities, schedules, and content are subject to change without prior notice.
11.3 Upon successful purchase, a confirmation email and E-Ticket (QR Code) will be sent to the email address provided.
11.4 Attendees are advised to use a personal email address and check spam or junk folders if confirmation is not received.
12. Rights of the Organiser
12.1 The Organiser reserves the right to:
Refuse admission or remove any attendee for safety, security, or behavioural reasons
Amend, modify, add, or remove any part of these Terms & Conditions without prior notice
Make final decisions on all matters relating to the Event
12.2 All decisions made by the Organiser shall be final and binding.
