1. This competition is open to all Malaysian and International undergraduate students , including diploma and degree students, from both public (IPTA) and private (IPTS) universities across Malaysia. Each group must consist of three (3) to five (5) members with a university lecturer appointed as their mentor. All members of the group must come from the same university.
2. Each team is required to submit four documents: an infographic poster, a project summary slide, a presentation video, and a dashboard. The dataset used must originate from Malaysia and can be obtained from the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) via https://open.dosm.gov.my/ or other reliable sources. Data from other countries may only be used to support statements, not as the primary dataset.
3. Projects must align with the Data Insights for Sustainable Well-being theme and focus on two or more elements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
SDG 4: Quality Education SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Reduction
4. All documents and presentation materials must be submitted in English.
5. All materials must be submitted by the end of 29th March 2026 (Sunday) at 10:00 am until before 10:00 pm via the Google Drive platform that will be provided. Failure to submit materials on time will result in a deduction of 5% of the total marks.
6. Competition Phases:
Phase 1: Evaluation based on the four submitted documents.
Phase 2: The top 20 teams from Phase 1 will qualify to a live pitching session on 25 April 2026 (Saturday)
