DISTED JAPAN EXPLORATION will be organized at Penang TImes Square on 3rd April 2016.

“DISTED JAPAN EXPLORATION” is a mini Japanese cultural event cum Mini-Cosplay event showcase organized by the final year students of DISTED School of Hospitality as part of the coursework requirement for the subject Marketing in Hospitality Industry (HMK401), Diploma in Hospitality & Business Management. The mentioned event will be held at Penang Times Square on the 3rd April 2016, from 1100 hours to 1930 hours.

The purpose of this event is to provide attendees exposure as well as to gain interest in Japanese culture, there will be activities like Japanese culture dance performances, modern dance performances. There will be vendors providing food and drinks, as well as souvenirs and product displays. There will also be photo booth set-ups for photo-shooting purposes. This Japanese themed event is aimed at youngsters in general, and the Cosplay competition will be the main attraction of this event.

In conjunction with the minor-event mentioned above, we will be implementing various and other interesting activities and contest, which includes the highlight of the event, “Best Cosplay Award”.
