Arise Malaysia 2026 - Registration Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before completing your registration.
1. Registration and Payment
1.1 Registration is only complete upon submission of the online registration form and receipt of full payment of the registration fee.
1.2 All fees must be paid in full by the specified deadline to secure your place at the event.
1.3 Payment confirmation will be sent to the email address provided in your registration.
2. Consent and Liability Waiver
For Participants Under 18 Years Old:
2.1 By registering for Arise Malaysia 2026, you affirm that you have obtained consent from your parent/guardian for your voluntary participation in this event.
2.2 You and your parent/guardian agree not to hold the organizing church or any affiliated organizations liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from your involvement in Arise Malaysia 2026.
2.3 Your parent/guardian, by providing consent, also agrees to the use of your photos or videos for the organizing church's publicity, fundraising, awareness-raising, or other ministry purposes.
3. Photography, Video Recording, and Media Consent
3.1 Please be aware that Arise Malaysia 2026 will be photographed and recorded throughout the event.
3.2 By attending this event, you consent to being filmed and photographed during all event activities.
3.3 You understand and agree that these photographs, videos, and other media materials may be used in:
Official Arise Malaysia or Arise Asia social media platforms
Publications, newsletters, and promotional materials
Websites and digital communications
Fundraising and awareness-raising campaigns
Ministry documentation and reports
3.4 All media rights are granted without compensation to the participant.
3.5 If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you must notify the event organizer in writing at least 7 days before the event. However, please note that complete avoidance of cameras may not be possible in group settings.
4. Ticket Transfer
4.1 Tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another eligible participant.
4.2 To transfer your ticket, you must notify the event organizer in writing at least 7 days before the event start date.
4.3 The new participant must complete a full registration form and meet all event eligibility requirements.
4.4 The original registrant remains responsible for ensuring all transfer procedures are completed properly.
4.5 Any consent and liability terms accepted by the original registrant will need to be re-affirmed by the new participant.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 All ticket sales are final. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
5.3 The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or insufficient registrations). In such cases, full refunds will be issued to all registered participants.
6. Participant Requirements
6.1 All participants must complete the registration form truthfully and accurately.
6.2 Participants under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to attend.
6.3 Participants must be regular members of a church and provide valid pastor contact information for verification purposes.
6.4 Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and activities unless excused by event staff.
6.5 All participants must acknowledge and accept the consent and liability waiver terms outlined in Section 2.
7. Code of Conduct
7.1 All participants must conduct themselves in a manner consistent with Christian values and principles.
7.2 Participants must respect event staff, volunteers, other participants, venue property, and local community members.
7.3 Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, violence, substance abuse, or disruption of event activities, will not be tolerated.
7.4 The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant who violates the code of conduct without refund.
8. Health and Safety
8.1 Participants must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, and dietary restrictions on the registration form.
8.2 Participants are responsible for bringing any necessary medications and medical supplies.
8.3 The organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate medical and dietary needs but cannot guarantee all requests can be met.
8.4 In case of medical emergency, the organizer is authorized to seek medical treatment for participants and will contact emergency contacts as soon as possible.
8.5 Participants attend the event at their own risk and accept full responsibility for their personal health and safety.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 The organizing team, event staff, volunteers, and venue shall not be held liable for:
Personal injury, illness, or death
Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
Emotional distress or psychological harm
Travel delays or complications
Any incidents occurring during the event or related activities
9.2 Parents/guardians of minor participants acknowledge and accept these limitations on behalf of their children.
9.3 Participants are strongly encouraged to maintain their own health, travel, and personal property insurance.
10. Schedule and Program Changes
10.1 The organizer reserves the right to modify the event schedule, program, speakers, worship leaders, and activities without prior notice.
10.3 The organizer is not liable for any changes to the advertised program or any disappointment resulting from such changes.
11. Personal Belongings
11.1 Participants are solely responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the event.
11.2 The organizer, venue, and affiliated parties are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during the event.
11.3 Participants should not bring valuable items unless absolutely necessary.
12. Communication and Updates
12.1 All event-related communications will be sent to the email address provided in the registration form.
12.2 Participants are responsible for checking their email regularly for important event updates, schedule changes, and other announcements.
12.3 It is the participant's responsibility to inform the organizer immediately of any changes to contact information.
13. Emergency Contact Authorization
13.1 By registering, participants authorize the event organizer to contact their designated emergency contact in case of illness, injury, or other emergencies.
13.2 For participants under 18, the parent/guardian authorizes event staff to make emergency medical decisions if they cannot be reached in a timely manner.
14. Governing Terms
14.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
14.2 Any disputes arising from these terms or the event shall be resolved in accordance with Malaysian law.
15. Acceptance of Terms
15.1 By submitting the registration form and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions in their entirety.
15.2 For participants under 18, the parent or legal guardian confirms their acceptance of these terms on behalf of the minor, including all consent, liability waiver, and media release provisions.
15.3 Completion of registration constitutes a legally binding agreement between the participant (and parent/guardian for minors) and the event organizer.
